No wonder Saddam had no problem with Kuwait

The law also does not apply to the rich. Quite a few years back(around the time of GW1) my dad worked for a rather rich kuwaiting by the name of Kutayba Alghanim, owner of Alghanim Industries doing personal computer work. I have pictures of my dad in the Kuwait desert shooting leftover MRE's...

    Shaq with gun

Well, he has got to have at least basic gun handling knowledge. I don't think I saw anyone else in the thread comment on his proper trigger control.

Load for Pietta Colt 1851 Navy?

UPDATE: Took her out shooting a couple weeks ago, and put a whole 16 shots down range. Very fun gun, but the main spring seems to be weak. It was randomly requiring a second strike on caps, used CCI #10's from two seperate tins bought a few weeks apart. Suggestions were to either get #11...

Load for Pietta Colt 1851 Navy?

Well, I just picked it up today and I'm a bit confused. In the referance pamphlet that comes with the gun, it says use 22-30gr of powder(I have Pyrodex 3F) for a .44cal. In the instruction manual, it says use between 12-15gr. I know too large of a charge and I'll probably take my hand at, too...

    Bonehead Assembly Mistakes

A few days ago I took apart the trigger group in my NHM-91 apart for the first time. After I finally got it back together, I did a function test then went to put the safety on and put it in the safe. Only problem was, there was no safety. It was sitting on the table I had kept all the parts...

how many rounds do you fire on an average range session?

Usually I put at least 200 through the AR-15, and I take that out every time. AK gets around the same amount, sometimes less since it's easier to heat up resulting in burnt hand guards. Saturday I put a little over 200 through the AR-15 myself, but it got over 300 because of the EOTech...

New Technology - Anybody Heard Of Advanced Barrels?

If it really lives up to the MFG's specs, I might just need to get one. I'm leary that it won't live up to expectations, and as alot of things will be too good to be true. Actually, the M4 and M4A1 have the exact same barrel profile, light under the handguards heavy on the front. Only...

Whats the cheapest gun you've ever bought?

Well, my neighbor gave me a Raven .25 if that counts. Actually works too! Cheapest gun I've actually bought was probably my Turk 1903, cost about $70 at Big 5 completly cleaned of cosmoline and ALL matching numbers.

    Questions about S&W Model 10-6

I know about the use of assembly numbers, I was just curious why they would use an assembly number on one part, and the actual serial number to the gun on the stocks. I did cut down part of the Hogues, only problem is they are still too large at the top and look horrible. The play is both side...

    Questions about S&W Model 10-6

Darn, guess I got a pair of garbage grips now. Any idea why there was an N stamped on the part? As I said, it was definetly a part original to the gun due to the numbers matching on the frame of the gun. Another thing i found odd, on the crane and frame under the grips was the same number...

    Questions about S&W Model 10-6

Well, the other day I picked up an S&W M10-6 for $150 and I've got a few questions. First, can anyone tell me when it was made? The serial number is C8239XX. I also need to know what frame type this is, N or K. Alot of places online list it as a K, but stamped on the crane(I beleive that...

    Friend had an ND recently...

I woke up today, with a voice mail on my phone that said : "Hey Turkish, this is [friends name], I got shot and I'm in the hospital, gimma a call." Now, we havne't really hung out that alot for a while, but I knew he was starting to get into some shady things, so I feared he got shot in a gang...

    THR Phoenix shoot

Hmm, I need to check these forums more often. I've been dying to go and put some rounds through my AR-15 before I paint it, but no one else has wanted to go. Looks like it was alot of fun, wish I could have attended.

    Who are you?

Wow, I'm the third youngest person here at 17, of course I did sign up when I was 16. Right now I'm the assistant manager of the IT department at a medium sized telemarketing company. Currently single, but there is that nice girl at work who I think keeps checking me out... Got 11 various...

    Gun Case Mystery

I bought a 3-dial pistol case from wal mart that works differantly. You put it to whatever number is the combo, and push the tabs in the opposite direction you would normally push them to open the case. After that, you set the code and push the tabs back. I have a hunch that yours might work...

    PPSH-41 Drum Magazine Question???????

If you are planning on doing something FA with those drums, don't. The springs in them are too weak to keep up with any decent ROF, so I had to keep recocking after every few rounds. Got fed up, slapped in a 35round stick and sailed through it with not a single problem.

    Henry lever action 22

Hmmm, from some of the posts in this thread I must have gotten a fluke. My Henry is a great guns, one of my favorite actually. Not to mention it was my second rifle, given to me by my parents like Ralphy got his Red Ryder in everyones favorite Christmas movie. I have had no problem with the...

    FUN GUNS Picture Thread

The funnest gun I personally own is my 20 guage 18.5" Mossberg 500c with factory stock PG. Scarred the daylights out of my as a kid, as when I first shot it I was about 10 years old and it ended up a few feet behind me. Funnest gun I've ever shot, well now that is a differant story. You...

anyone else collect cartridges? (or looking to sell single cartridges)?

I collect cartridges, but so far only from guns that I have fired. It is actually a surprisingly large, with a total of 15 differant calibers/gauges. The following is a pic of the colelction, and a few other knick-knacks I've collected, like a Gulf-war era anti-personel mine and an original(as...

Anyone wanna buy a cartridge case from an A-10 30mm Gatling gun?

Go ahead and send mine to ttbadboy and his friends. May seem odd seeing as $4 isn't alot of money, but I can't afford it right now. Just borrowed $400 from my parents a few days ago to buy a chinese NHM-91, and I will be borrowing more for some AR-15 parts so I'm kind of out of money right...
