For us lefties, it's a great option. A levergun that locks up just like a bolt action. Quick follow up shots in an easy carrying package.
AND...variety is the spice of life.
I've had a black one for years, but these are from a limited run of some sort, with the red scales. Very useful knives. More than many people would think. I use them for EDC, and I've even skinned a deer with one.
The box removable mags allow pointed bullets, and the bolt locks up front, on the barrel. So its basically a bolt action in a lever rifle.
I like these scopes a lot too. I guess I should, I've got them on 4 of my rifles.
It kicks, but nothing bad at all. I like the flat shooting 7mm for open country and clear cut hunting.
The BLR action is very strong. It locks up just like a bolt action rifle. With "cheap" Remington 150gr ammo, it shoots great.
I hate the bead blast cheesy finish on the newer stainless guns.
I hate ANY gun with those horrible laser etched logos.
Guns that go "CLANG" instead of click when you dry fire them are bad. Damm, I hate that sound. It just screams cheaply made. Many of the new ones do that.
The lock is...
I stumbled across it today. Its almost like brand new. Timing is perfect. DA trigger is smooth as butter. SA is super crisp. They knew how to make them back in 1953.
