I thought I'd share a couple pics of my FN Herstal PBR XP .308 (Patrol Bolt Rifle), which is basically a Winchester Model 70.
24 inch fluted barrel
Hogue overmolded stock
Had a trigger job done by SPR Industries and set to 2.5 pounds (factory was 6)
Leupold Mark 2 T2 Tactical scope...
Picked this up today.
Its a Sako Finnbear Deluxe, in 7mm Remington Magnum
Very well taken care of, clean one owner. Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x40 scope with Talley steel rings and bases.
The action is smooooooooooth....
Real nice wood on her.
Should be a nice, flat shooter.
I thought I would share a couple pics of my Model 58 .41 Magnum revolver.
Target hammer, trigger, and stocks.
It has lived its life in a safe.........so far.
This PC1911 impresses me. It's very well built. It has a fantastic trigger, and is extremely accurate. Slide to frame fit is the best I've ever seen without being too tight.
I know....front slide serrations, and a warning label. WHO CARES, when the pistol is built like this?
I got rid of...
Years ago, as a kid, I had a Winchester 101.
Now, 35 years later, I have a 101, made in 1965.
I had forgotten how good it feels in my hands.
My pics are rather lousy. It's hard to capture the subdued beauty of this 101.
Bear rifle or "Tactical Lever Rifle"?
Marlin 1895 STP LTD 45/70
My shoulder hurts just thinking about it!!
It's going to be a fun little powerhouse. I'll take it for a spin this weekend.
