I fill it about 2/3 then fill with media.....tumble for a minute or 2 and then fill again with media once the cases fill up and make some more room....

pittspilot....no one is questioning your intelligence....the simplest solution (and the most intelligent) is to not interchange cartridges....38 loads for 38 cases and bullets....357 loads for 357 cases and bullets....simple....and don't forget that the 2 cartridges utilize different primers...
How many rounds do you have on your press?....How old is it?....I'll check mine when I get home to see what mine looks like....you have some good pics there I would definately give Hornady a call.....the dies shouldn't move and that problem will only continue to get worse as the movement will...
If you have a chance take a look at the 50 BMG powder and then look at Varget or similar....there is a HUGE difference....The surface area of a grain of the 50 powder is considerably larger than other powder....I load 50 BMG and would not even consider using any powder unless specifically...
I ordered one from Cabelas and on backorder until the end of April...the amazon link is 1-2 months shipping time.....either order it from a retailer at the regular price and wait or pay huge bucks for it now....I am in no rush as I have plenty of factory loads.....
I have a LNL and have been more than happy with customer service when I had problems....I just bought new 50 BMG dies for my ammomaster and need a new spindle for it....no questions asked sent me a new one....
