Hey all - helping a friend look over a lot of firearms he bought...
This shotgun is marked J. Stevens Arms Company, which was the official company name between 1915 and 1945 according to Wikipedia. The other side is marked “Stevens The Fully Guaranteed Single Gun”. I found a post on a Stevens...
This is a little different from the normal thread around here... Title says it all.

* XDm 5.25 .40 / Colt Competition Rifle CRE-18 / Rem 1187 built by JP Enterprises for 3 gun

What!?
It's a common CZ-75...
Earlier today Midway had reduced max order of Magpul PMAG 30 rounders to five.
Now it's two.
Along with almost every other mag I want to purchase in bulk. XDm 40S&W 16 round, Glock 20 10mm Auto 15 round...
OK so every month I look forward to our 'big' local gun shop's new monthly flyer. It's a PDF on their website, I've been downloading them and storing them - renaming them the month and year for several years now. They are fun to look back through and see what firearms were 'NEW' and how much...
So my local dealer has one of these rifles in stock and I _almost_ purchased it last night until I noticed one thing...

The front gas block doesn't have a rail attachment point on top of it. So how in the heck would I put iron sights on...
So on the purchase of my second Hornady LnL AP I selected the only .308 in the free bullet offer - qty 500 of .308 150gr SP bullets. They are lead nosed soft point or spire point. I’m finding out they are not nearly as accurate as the Hornady 168gr HPBT match type bullets out of my 20”...
Hey folks. I'm not a revolver guy at all but a co-worker gave me this Ruger Blackhawk to look at.
The chief complaint is that upon firing a 44 mag round, the brass is nigh impossible to extract.
Upon removal of the cylinder as you can see below, there are what look like ridges near where...
I'm wanting to duplicate the M193 NATO load but for the life of me I cannot find 55gr FMJ-BT with a Cannelure .224 bullets in stock anywhere. Is this typical? I've looked at Midway, Sinclair, Natchez, and a couple others.
This is for my Colt 6920 16" M4 style AR-15. Is there any other...
Hey folks. Did a little playing this weekend and thought I would share...
I finally started loading rifle a few months ago and .308 is the only caliber I'm loading for. The very first time I sat down and processed 200 .308 brass in a single sitting, I realized I wasn't going to be able to...
Hey folks. My last trip to the LGS I purchased a rubbermaid tub of 250 'used' .308 WIN brass for $24.
About 30% of the used brass looks like those shown below. I have already culled them aside. I tried the paper clip trick on them and could not feel a ridge or anything inside at that depth...
Title darn near says it all. Have 100-200 yard shots at the shooting range at work - will be the most frequent. Have a place to shoot 45 minutes away to shoot out to 350 yards. That will be a maybe 4-6 trips this summer.
Looking at the Bushnell Elite Scopes on closeout at Midway USA...
Hey gang. Looking for some tips.
I've loaded about, eh, 1500 or so pistol rounds on my Hornady LnL (.40/10mm/45ACP) including 350 45ACP last night. I'm still a new reloader by any measure and all my loading has been striaght wall pistol cases for semi-auto firearms.
I've had really...
