J. Stevens Break Action - Help with Identification

Hey all - helping a friend look over a lot of firearms he bought...

This shotgun is marked J. Stevens Arms Company, which was the official company name between 1915 and 1945 according to Wikipedia. The other side is marked “Stevens The Fully Guaranteed Single Gun”. I found a post on a Stevens collectors forum via Goog stating 'those two markings together place it between 1936-1940'.

There is no serial number on the shotgun. There is no indication of a model number on the receiver, nor chamber length or gauge stamped on the barrel anywhere.

The chamber measures about .695-.700" and the muzzle about .595-605". Is that a 16 or a 20 gauge - or even something else?

Can't help you but that gun appears to be in very nice condition. Congratulations on a good find.

I thought it may be a 107B. I have one in 16 gauge. Chamber .742", muzzle .620". It looks almost exactly like yours.
Your trigger guard is more open and rounded than mine and the stock seems slightly different also.
I found photos of the Stevens 94B that looks more like yours.
I don't have anything in 20 gauge to measure for comparison.
