How less loud. 115gr/124gr vs 147 Subsonic

Shooting indoors it's easy to hear the difference. Still need ear plugs with no suppressor tho

Source for CZ parts? Experience buying?

Ya the cheapest way to accomplish this would be to find a complete surplus gun and than sell the frame. Would have to be a B model tho if you want to keep the firing pin lifter in your current frame.

How to build a lightweight ar15.

If I was gonna go out and buy a polymer lower it would have to be one with metal inserts, ones reinforced with thicker polymer in weak area's like the new frontier Gen II or the cav arms one that is all one piece avoiding the common break areas on some cheap polymer lowers.

How to build a lightweight ar15.

Mag tactical would have been in consideration for the article if the company didnt go belly up from the lowers breaking. They did have some really good ideas with there magnesium alloys tho.

How to build a lightweight ar15.

Oh i know you where referring to only ar15 polymer lowers but glocks infact are super cheap to make it cost less to make a complete glock than it does to buy the new frontier polymer lower. Are they that much better than other polymer lowers i dont know but they do have a lifetime warrenty and...

How to build a lightweight ar15.

I personally wouldnt run a carbon fiber handguard either but its not about what i like as much as weight savings. You could run a lithium/aluminum lower receiver but its still gonna cost you more weight. So do you also think junk toy gun when you see most of the gun handguns on the market...

    Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm Feedback

I wouldn't be to worried about the warranty because I don't ever see you needed it and if you do it will probably right way. I really liked my Dan Wesson is was a fine crafted pistol that was tight yet smooth as butter.

    Standard Glock barrels with lead

Ive shot over a 1000rds of lead bullets through my g17 without cleaning it and not had any issues. As long as the bullet fit is correct and your using a good lube/coating and hardness it shouldnt be any different than shooting a plated bullet.

    the p229

Looks like you had a good time, you might be surprised how well you can shoot at 50 yards. My first try with a pistol at 100rds I didn't figure I'd even hit the target and it was a lung shot.

    Best bullet weight 9mm

If it feeds well and is reliable then your good to good. I think a 147gr loaded with a fast burning powder might produce less recoil and inturn wear but it would be so little that you would never be able to notice the wear difference.

Range Day : First Shots with New CZ SP-01

Its hard to beat a good CZ.

What weight 9MM bullet for IDPA and why?

Simplest way to look at it is powder = recoil, so lighter bullets take for powder to reach the same power factor as heavier ones. A heavy bullet and a fast powder will give the lowest recoil but you have to be carefully not to spike pressure to high.

Time to face facts: Strikers win

Buying a striker fired gun would be one way to go about things but a better option might be to improve your overall shooting ability. With a good grip, stance, and trigger control you should be able to shoot a SAO, DA/SA, Striker, DAO all about the same under 45ft. It's pretty common for people...

    Bushing compensator vs Threaded Traditional.

They do make a CZ bushing compensator from the factory. But to the OP question bushing compensator are much less effective than the threaded on ones because of the size of the hole through the center has to be so much larger on a bushing style i wouldnt waste your time with a bushing style one...

Who manufacturers AR15 uppers for hire?

Thanks Taurus 617 CCW this is the kind of info I'm looking for companies that can currently mass produce stripped lower or uppers. If anyone has more companies I'd love to hear about that.

Who manufacturers AR15 uppers for hire?

I was thinking the other day that every ar15 company out there probably doesn't cast or machine all there stuff in house and most likely has another company build it to there specs. Anyone know of some companies that manufacturer ar15 uppers not for there own personal use but for other...

Recoil spring changes after reduced hammer spring install?

No you shouldnt need to change your recoil spring because you change your hammer spring. Lowering your hammer spring with really help reduce the DA pull and so will the reduced trigger return spring. If you want to reduce your SA pull weight the most effective way is to replace the hammer with...
