I have been using 125gr coated bullets and using Titegroup with 3.6gr and a O.A.L. of 1.10 for 9mm loads. With the current situation I have only been able to procure Winchester small pistol magnum primers instead of my usual CCI #500 primers. Since 3.6 is on the low end of your load data...
Thanks for the great info. I have a spare msg from my loaded 1911 if I need to swap. Also have some WC 8 shot mags. I also like the hard rubber grips and have a set of those too.
Have the chance to buy a anib with 200 rounds through it. Gun is extremely tight and no marks whatsoever. Gun was manufactured in 2007. Is this a good price. Thanks
Been running 6.2gr unique behind a 200gr xtreme rn plated for several years with fps around 870. Good load, mild recoil and no malfunctions with a SA 45acp range officer. Not as clean as I would like but that's the price you pay with unique.
One is a Colt 38 special and the other seems to be a 32 caliber. Both are very rusty and cannot find serial numbers or model numbers.
Thanks for the help.
I have been wanting a carbine in a pistol caliber for a while. Mainly for plinking a SD and because I load my own ammo. I thought I could build one for about $750 but that seems impossible so I am left with a choice of carbines that function flawlessly and have an "AR" look to them and they use...
@bds - Berrys is soft lead plated and the Alliant chart is for a gold dot hollow point. I don't think they are similarly constructed so I be probably stick with the midway chart for Ranier bullets since they are of similar construction.
@walkalong - thanks for the info. I have been using the midway chart but was not sure if that would equate to Berrys plated bullets but it looks like it does so I should be okay.. Thanks
BTW... what OAL are you using.
The closest I could find is Ranier. Their chart shows
4.3gr
CCI500
OAL - 1.165
Is that a good choice or should I change anything. Don't have a chrono but have had no problems. Please advise. Thanks
Getting mixed info from many sites so I'll ask here for some advice.
Using Berry's 115gr plated 9MM with Unique 5.7gr and CCI 500 primers. I find it works well for mainly target practice at ranges of 7 to 10 yards. Alliant says to use 6.3gr but that puts the powder almost at the top of the...
Didn't see a thread on this topic so I thought I'd start one. Now that Sig has introduced the P938 I wonder how it will stack up to a Kimber Solo. I have been carrying my P238 for some time now and feel very comfortable carrying in condition 2. Assuming Sig learned their lesson with the P238...
