Easier quick detach I suppose. What's your general use of the rifle? If it's a heavier caliber is say 2 seperate rings from badger or similar. Do you run BUIS? If you have a plinker/comp gun with a 1x4 then a qd one peice is what I'd run.

Honestly a ban on guns like ARs and AKs is a reason to hold on to them, not sell them. If that time comes and you still want to part with it ppl would probably be willing to spend quite a bit more for it.

For a bomb proof, no frills chest rig, I'd suggest the SOE Micro rig, holds ak and ar mags and can be had for around 100 bucks. If you want something fancier or cooler, the Haley d3 rig is nice. Also check out skdtac.com

Spray paint the crap out of it. Check out Cory and Erika's range time channel on YouTube, they posted a good how to video on this very subject. It's easy, just make sure to stuff the barrel, keep an empty mag in, and tape up your sights first
