If you have time to reload and did not proactively have brass ready. You dont have to wait for polished brass. Have a cup of coffee and keep the process moving. I guess from your perspective it might not save anything. I dont proactively do brass anymore cause the noise wont let the kids sleep...
Will mag primers make such a difference that a specific powder just does not give great results in a specific rifle anymore? I had mag primed casings i used for bolt action rifle. I couldent get results close to regular peimers. I know there are many many variables. Just asking about primers...
Sounds great. I also just found a new product that works outstanding. Its called Arrow. This stuff is amazing. Comes in liquid form. Mix six to one with water. Grabbed one of my wifes mixing bowls. Threw a hunderd dirty deprimed and resized shells in with a small water bottle size amount of the...
Long time no talk guys. Thanks for all the help from you guys here who got me started on the right road. THE HIGH ROAD. Thanks in advance.
I have been reloading 223 in the thousands and have switched to accurized specific loads from just 50- 100 yard stuff. The ar likes a few different...
Accuracy improved moving the bullet up. 010 without using cannalure. Accuracy improved. I cant get the bullet ogive any further forward without going over max coal. First five to ten shots were good so i blasted the rest except the last 2 and there was no change in bullet seated position. Thanks...
What would be the proper neck tension technique? 1/8 turn on the die or the standard 1/4 turn? So the reason for cannalure is full auto, full auto saftey and manufacture saftey? I had great accuracy from nosler 55with cannalure with just over half moa. Ogive 1.875 was max coal. These zmax are...
First of all I always try my brass to 1.755 . To get max cartridge overall length I need to trim my brass to 1.760. I cant get the ogive of the bullet where the rifle likes so i want to extend a little. I am still safe enough to just make the rest of the amo. Just dont go over saami?
Thanks. But what really separates one from another? With shotguns because it is a minimal range gun, they all perty much get the job done? Stay within the trusted names and u really cant go wrong?
I havent purchased a shotgun yet. I keep getting different opinions as to which type and style i should purchase. This will be a turkey and goose gun. I imagine if i got to a range with a buddy ill shoot skeet but not alot if ever. I was told by my brothers to get a semi auto over a pump. That i...
I just measured the case wall thickness of 50. It is the same as new spec LC BRASS! .013 - .011 . I dont have any brass fired more than 4 times so i am unsure of thinning thickness measurement. I would deduce these are once fired PPU and twice fired LC.
I would say in conjunction with all except the bitter guys, one long shell will give you that wrong kind of boom. I have caught a few. 3 to be exact. Now when belling i look for the ones with a bigger bell or the bullet just flows like a marble in a bucket. This can also happen with thin er...
Too manu variables. List rifle, twist rate, what type of accuracy you want in the end. The only info provided will still only be a point you start below an work your way up too. No magic loads. Get the powder you have chosen an bullet weight for the twist rate of your rifle. Do a ladder and...
I just went through this with these Reigneer bullets or how ever you spell it. I did a small ladder this weekend with 45acp and 9. These bullets crack on the sides and smush sometimes. Even when afew chambered wrong it was because of a flat smush on the tip of th bullet. The ones that had no...
It seems half is PPU or privi partisan which is once fired and the other was remanufactured once. Any way all the lc brass has a perty uniform thickness. It was only 50.00 bucks so i think i will reload once then recycle. I learned that i should pay close attention to the primer pocket. Sometimes.
