How do I sell a gun on gunbroker?

Is there special paperwork I need to get from the buyer? Do I need to keep records of the sale? Are there special considerations for shipping? I've read GB's information on this, but I'm interested in hearing from some folks that have real world experience selling things on the site.

Does anyone know how to get their Lock n Load AP to stop doing this?

The primer feed cam wire keeps coming out of the lower socket. I'm not sure how its supposed to stay in there in the first place. The socket is spring loaded, but the bottom of the cam wire is rounded and its constantly slipping out for me. Does anyone know how to keep the wire in place?

    Marlin 1894 bore too big

I have a Marlin 1894 in .44 mag that is very inaccurate with lead bullets unless they're sized at .433". As this makes my bullet selection very limited (only one supplier, Dardas Cast Bullets, will make .433's), I'm wondering if its possible to reduce the bore diameter of this rifle. Can 1894's...

    M1 Garand brass life question

I've read that the Garand action is particularly hard on brass, and one shouldn't reload a case more than 4 times for an M1, M1A, etc... Is this still the case if you're running an adjustable gas plug? I got me a Schuster for my M1, and I have it dialed in to *barely* function the...

M1 Garand + Schuster gas plug questions

Schuster's directions say the thing is shipped fully "open", meaning the autoloading mechanism will not work. One is to gradually tighten the adjusting screw until your rifle is functioning correctly. When the plug is wide open, is the rifle effectively a single shot, bolt action rifle? The...

How are Henry Big Boys with lead reloads?

Marlin 1894s have all sorts of issues with rifling, bore size, quality, etc... and it seems lots of people (myself included) have had problems getting them to shoot lead reloads accurately. How are Henry Big Boys? I'm thinking of trading my 1894 for a Henry, but I want to make sure I'm...

    Marlin 1894 accuracy woes

I bought a new Marlin 1894 in .44 mag and I can't hit nothin' with the thing. In a Hickock45 video, he says that he had the same problem with his and it turned out to be his bullets were sized .429". Apparently, the Marlins like .431". He said his rounds were keyholing and generally all over...

What's going on with these cases?

I'm new to rifle reloading and I'm wondering if what I'm seeing here is normal or not. These are some .30-06 cases that have been reloaded maybe 4-5 times (neck sized only). The area below the discoloration (closer to the rim) actually has a smaller OD than the area above. Is this...

Why are the employees at the LGS/Range armed?

Employees open carry at every range/LGS I go to around here (northern IL). This doesn't make sense to me. Is a gun store or range a high crime area? This notion runs counter to the pro-gun community's claim that more guns = safer society. If that's true, then the LGS/range should be the...

How's the chamber support in the .40 Beretta Storm?

How is the Storm's chamber support? I'm looking at getting a new .40 to be a workhorse and I'll be doing a lot of load development, and I want something with a fully supported chamber. Pics of chambered rounds would be great (can't really check this at the LGS).

How important is OAL for accuracy?

How important is it to use an OAL gauge and seat your rifle bullets just off the lands? I hear this is important because if the bullet has to "jump" to the rifle lands unsupported, it can affect accuracy. Are we sure about this? How, exactly, does what happens in the first few 1/100ths of a...

How many firings will I get...

How many firings will I get out of 8mm Mauser brass that I'm resizing with a Lee collet die? This is a minimum load and I'm using the same yugo mauser for all the shooting. How often will I have to trim the brass? And as I understand it, the Lee collet dies don't bump the shoulder back at...

Sig P220 donates all my brass to the range, anything I can do?

I just got a P220 and I love it, but it ejects all my brass at about 2 o'clock, where it bounces forward and about 10 yards into the range. I'm a reloader and I pick up all my brass, but if I keep shooting this thing I won't have any left. Is there anything I can do to get it to eject the...

I can't get my brass shiny anymore

I tumble brass in a vibratory tumbler for 1:30 in Lyman Tuffnut. My brass would GLEAM from this, but now it just comes out dusty (if you wipe the dust off, it gleams). Yes, I've replaced the media several times, and have gone through several batches. Yes, I've added some additive to the...

Which cerakote color best matches Springfield's parkerization?

I've just about had it with the fragility of my Springer mil spec's finish and I'm looking to upgrade, but I'm not unhappy with the color. I'd like to keep the original look as intact as possible. Which cerakote color do I go with?

Getting a lotta jams where you can't pull the slide back

I'm getting a lot of rounds that feed into the chamber ok, but they seem like they're maybe too large to go all the way in. They jam themselves in there so good that its almost IMPOSSIBLE to pull the slide back to eject them. They're all happening with LSWCs from a very popular company on this...

    M&P .40 kaboom update

The M&P from http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=732981 has been repaired and rides again! The owner of this gun has a background in auto body and was sure he could fix it. His first attempt was to use an epoxy recommended by a 3M rep, but the glue failed on maybe the 10th round...

    Short recoil question

As I understand it, in a short recoil gun the slide and barrel move rearward together until pressure has dropped to a safe level for them to separate. In my Beretta 92, SW 4506 and 1911, the slide and barrel stay locked for a decent distance, almost a centimeter or so. But in my glocks, the...

    M&P .40 kaboom

Here are some pics of my buddy's SW M&P .40 after he fired what we're guessing musta been a double charge. This round was supposed to be 7.5 grains of Power Pistol under a 140 grain MBC truncated cone bullet. The remains of the case were very tough to get out of the chamber. We had to tap...

Concerns about reloading for a .40 Glock

I'm starting to reload .40 for a Glock 22 and some of the things I'm reading on the internet are concerning me. First off, the kabooms. True, kabooms can happen with any gun but there are a lot of stories about Glock .40's kabooming in particular. So here are my questions: Why is this...
