I do both. In the Winter, I wear two shirts. In the Summer, when it is hot, I just wear one shirt. I decided the feeling of the holster and mag pouches against my skin was easier to get used to that wearing two shirts in that case.

The factory P225 magazines are made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn. Mec-Gar makes most of Sig Sauer's other magazines with a couple of exceptions. But Mec-Gar does not sell all of the aftermarket. They currently only sell the P228/229 9mm and P226 9mm magazines aftermarket.

There are more P228's and Montage Suisse P225's inbound. Both are Zurich Police turn-ins. Hopefully they will be available early next week.

Thge 10RD magazine will work in a P245 or P220 Compact, but even with the sleeve, it will show the magazine. The X-Grip is the exact part used by SIG to make the 8RD P245/P220 Compact magazines.

Be very careful and be sure before you proceed. It is my understanding that once a lower receiver is registered as a long gun, it cannot be made into a pistol without the proper SBR paperwork. I believe this registration must take place at the factory.
