    Testing for light strikes

Thank you for the advice, glad I caught a mistake. Upon further scrutiny I discovered that the disengagement of the safety engaged with the hammer forward would trigger the hammer to fall forward again, making the safety a second trigger. This was resolved by returning the spring to the...

    Testing for light strikes

The torsion spring is dead and no longer a spring, but the action still resets the trigger and the hammer cannot release unless the trigger is pulled, albeit with 2.5 pound trigger pull. Did this tacticool shotgun always want to be a custom competitive skeet gun? Should I call it a day? o_O

    Testing for light strikes

Nevermind, it's safe, but its in wrong, the trigger itself and not the mechanism will not reset unless the mechanism resets it, so that tension spring is not working for some reason, even though it it installed correctly.

    Testing for light strikes

Dear friends, something freaky has happened, I realized that I put in the trigger tension spring backwards, and that this as the source of the rare previous jam. Now that it is in correctly I have what must be a 3 pound crisp break. :what: I smacked it from all directions, dropped it from...

    Testing for light strikes

Thank you for the response. The pull is at 8 pounds right now down from what must have been eleven. I checked both situations, the hammer never follows the bolt down and when the trigger is held down and the action cycles the hammer does not release, although if this is done excessively the...

    Testing for light strikes

Hi all, I just did a trigger job on my semi-auto 12 gauge Turkish shotgun. The pull is just a bit better, but I noticed that when dry-firing there is no longer as much noise or shaking. I did not cut any springs at all, and just polished with fine file and dremel polishing bit the trigger and...

    Titegroup Reloading NG Poisoning?

My success with the Lee package deal powder thrower is probably quite exceptional because I know a lot of people throw it out for being terrible, I am no great talent however considering how it took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to put it together when it should really take 30 seconds...

I can't do 100th only 50ths. I have never metered anything else, but it does not seem that titegroup meters well due to the flakey flat form and uneven size. I spent many hours and hundreds of cycles to tune the tightness of the lever just right and find the right volume. I am very close and...

    Titegroup Reloading NG Poisoning?

Carbon Dioxide is not really likely , I have slept in that room with closed windows and door many times, in fact I believe at least one was open a crack. It had to have been the times I came into contact with it in particular while wiping it down with wet TP. In the future I will wear gloves...

I'm not worried about the charges because I measured each one to a resolution of .02 gr with max deviation of .06gr smallest to greatest. Also I am not near max which is 3.6, I'm at 3.3.

    Titegroup Reloading NG Poisoning?

I went down to vacuum, the first thing to go was the nose and then right after the eyes. I was shocked to find so little powder remaining. More had spilled obviously, which I cleaned last night, but I would estimate that the total powder exposed was about 4 grains including little bits that fell...

The label to titegroup could read: WARNING: Absorption of Nitroglycerin contained herein can lead to headaches, nausea, vertigo, dizziness and explosives reactions with the opposite sex.

People's Republic of Canada. I'm feeling mostly better now. I'll go and vacuum. Not to be indecent, but it seems that the final stage of NG poisoning or allergy is significant dilation of the blood vessels leading to the pelvic area resulting in delayed morning wood with interest, maybe NG...

    Titegroup Reloading NG Poisoning?

You know I spent many hours with it the first time cycling through my Lee powder thrower a thousand times probably, how else is it possible to get it to throw between 3.28 and 3.34 grains every time for hundreds of times. Then some got on my skin, some spilled, although not as much as last night...

Yes Acera! I experienced SKS palm/wrist! That being said I can't do that at this time, the setup is in my bedroom currently.

Pretty much same here, I can drive an hour or less and get to a decent spot to shoot. And I don't even know the best spots. Problem is transporting handguns to anywhere other than a specifically listed facility will get you doing hard time here, so ranges are a must for handguns. They will even...

    Titegroup Reloading NG Poisoning?

Well GBExpat it's too late for that, it's a hobby and a way of life for me, and I believe a neccesity for all. I may have to give up on reloading double base powders or reloading in general. I've never felt sick while shooting or at a range except for that one time. Ah and also when a "new" SKS...
