I shoot a 50 cal Hatfield percussion. Round ball. Nothing fancy. I have always hunted late season when there are a lot fewer hunters but the deer have been chased around quite a bit.
I learned long ago to use old clean tshirts on my glasses and optics but once they have gone out to my shop they are no longer acceptable because they could still hold grinding dust, etc.
Im kind of a tightwad so when tshirts, socks and underwear get tossed they are really worn out.
Luck?
$5 I wish. The best I could do is some loose change on the bathroom floor but I don't pick that up.
If it wasnt for bad luck Id have no luck at all.
I would like to upgrade hearing protection. I have a lot of hearing loss. Too many years of racecars, rock n roll, and chipping hammers. and of course hunting and shooting. Can anyone steer me toward a better choice in hearing protection? I use plugs and inexpensive muffs now.
Great story. Both mine were rescues. I cant imagine a better breed for me and my family. The were sweet but absolutely hated our rural mail carrier and the UPS man.
That one looks interesting. I can get a console vault for my truck but it has some things I dont like about it. The box and cable I could move from truck to car.
I am reading this with great interest. I have not had to draw my weapon so I dont know how I might react. I would definately be more inclined to flight rather than fight unless at my own home or with family. I am getting that laws vary a lot, interpretations of those laws vary, and situations...
I see this thread is about 3 weeks old but it caught my attention. I pulled up our local Craigslist and found 5 pair at cheap prices. I may go buy a a pair to keep in my truck.
As much as I may not like it there are just some places I cant carry my handgun. I have never liked the idea of leaving it in my vehicle but there just seems to be no other choice. What are you using for safe storage in your car or truck? I drive both.
Many, many years ago my parents gave me a Remington 870 12 ga. I have many great memories involving that shotgun. I still have it and would never consider getting rid of it.
I got signed up for the Lifetime Membership first thing this morning. Took about 3 minutes. I did not even get put on hold. It could not have been easier.
