A local company we visit is having a raffle. Tickets were $20 a piece. They were raising money for a local charity. If you win you receive all three of the following.. (They had them on display)

Rem model 700 SPS stainless .308
Glock 19 Gen4 9x19
Rem model 11-87 Sportsman 12 Ga

All new in the box

I would certainly have a good day if I got a phone call next month saying they drew my name!!

Derek if you win I want that .308! Haha it's Liberty auction house in Pembroke. Just s couple minutes from you if you're in statesboro!

We have a local raffle put on by the county fire association. You buy chances for "a gun a day for the month of May". Even if you win one your ticket is returned to the pile for all future drawings.:D It is popular and sells out in less than a week with the 1000 ticket limit.

I have a coworker who seems to have been blessed with these raffles. In the past 2 years, he's won an 870, Kimber solo, Sig (possibly 228) in desert tan, a Taurus PT22 and a Double Tap deringer in 9mm. I do believe he purchases several tickets though. He don't really like to say how many.

Never once have I ever won a raffle. But I did find a $5 bill on the ground once in the middle of a field... I may have saved money on my car insurance in the past as well. I forget.

Luck?

$5 I wish. The best I could do is some loose change on the bathroom floor but I don't pick that up.
If it wasnt for bad luck Id have no luck at all.

Think of it this way. You either win or don't win. 50/50 chance.

That's the only way I can convince myself to buy a powerball ticket. It just sounds so much better than 1/300,000,000.
