    Cast bullets in the 223

Looking for information on cast bullets for 223 with a 12 twist barrel as well as bullets for a 7 twist barrel. I've heard that 45 to 60 grain will work in either barrel. I was thinking harder bhn would be needed in the 7 twist. Appreciate any advice on this. John

    Powder coated bullets???

Has anyone else found powder coated bullets to give poor accuracy?? After doing some accuracy test with my 243 and 2 different bullets (soft lead). Advice needed about primers

I want to try some IMR 4227 powder in my 243 with cast bullets. Problem is all I have is large pistol primers..I've read where you can't use them. Has anyone tried the lpp with this powder. I use them all the time with faster pistol powder and 4227 is used in some revolver loads. Thanks.
