I purchased a three piece Boyds stock for my M1. The barrel/receiver assembly laid in the new stock with no problem. When I tried to insert the trigger assembly some woodworking was necessary to make it fit. Is this usual for these stocks or do I have something wrong? Many thanks, Old Man

I am new with black powder. I have a .44 cal revolver and on the box it says use .454 balls. One of the suppliers led me to believe that I might be better off using .451 balls because of less strain on the receiver. This makes sense to me, am I right? Thanks, Old Man
