I was checking out a used LCR today. When i checked for lock up, the only way i could think to do it was to dry fire and hold the trigger back and check for any excess wiggle and the alignment. Just wondering if my thinking is right.

I bought a SP101 a couple of weeks ago and finally got a chance to shoot it. First 2 rounds did fine but on the 3rd the hammer stuck forward (wouldn't let me pull trigger double action). I've been given some Hornady HAP 121 gr 9mm (.356) bullets. Can't seem to find any load data on them. Anyone ever load these? Profile is the same as the XTP. I'm thinking the 124 gr XTP data might work.

Just wondering what calipers you prefer, digital ,dial, brand. I've got both and tend to go to the easier digital first, but use the dial also.

I have some .357 reloads that i crunched the case on when seating the bullet.I was using the same die for .38s and didn't adjust right. Just not sure how to dispose of them. Can't pull the bullet and didn't want to just throw em in the trash. I've since bought a separate die for .357...

I'm new here to the forum. Just wondering if anyone has tried the amega mount for the mini-14.It replaces the top half of the gas block and the upper hand guard with a picatinny rail. Not sure if taking the gas block apart is a wise idea.just wanted to see what others thought of it...
