    Security Six Grip Adapters?

Bought the same gun, picked up couple days ago. Cleaned up nice and I have wood grips coming. @357 Terms, how much effort to replace the sight? I would like to improve the sight picture.

    9mm BCG compatible with Endomag

Faxon 9mm BCG (Glock) works well in my build. Make sure you break the Endomags in per manufacturer instructions. I had issues initially. Turns out my Strike Industries latchless charging handle was hanging up. Switched to milspec, runs like a champ.

What do you think about .22 TCM? Also, 1911 or PT92?

I have a RI MAPP in 22 TCM 9R and a RI 1911 in 22 TCM. They are both a blast to shoot and the muzzle flash makes for great photos. The 1911 came with a 9mm barrel. Had to buy a Tanfoglio 9mm barrel for the MAPP (CZ 75 clone). Based on my google digging, you can shoot a 22 TCM 9R in a 22 TCM, but...

    1911 in 9mm

Love my Ruger SR1911 LW Commander. Runs everything I feed it. FMJs, HPs, reloads, steel cased. etc. Only change I made was adding a fiber optic front sight. Tempted to try the Officer model as well.

    M&P 40 to 9mm barrel swap

Bought a SilencerCo brand conversion barrel in 9mm for my .40. Dropped in and shot fine (good lockup). Not sure they still make them, though.

    Little Gunpowder therapy

Surprisingly, I probably have an M1 carbine spring lying around. I will think on this, thank you

    What's on your short list?

A MAS 49 (still 7.5x54) to go with my MAS 36. Not interested in a .308 conversion.

    Little Gunpowder therapy

Thanks for the above replies. I'll probably just leave the MAS alone. It's still fun to shoot just the way it it. In regards to the Canik, I probably am resting my thumb on the slide lock as it was very consistently not locking on empty. Another excuse to shoot again to fix my form. I didn't...

    Little Gunpowder therapy

Finally went shooting after a long hiatus. Definitely rusty, but it came back to me. From left to right: 1. Ruger Security Six 2. MAS 36 3. M&P40 (with 9mm Silencerco barrel) 4. Canik TP9SF Elite 5. RIA MAPP 22TCM9R (with 9mm Witness barrel) First time shooting the Ruger. Ran mostly .38, but a...

Shot my first Dot Torture drill (SIG P230)

Progress, not perfection. Gonna have to try this one. Nice find

Does anyone make a decent dehumidifier?

+1 for the Goldenrods. Have two in my long gun locker. Had no issues and I live a half mile from the ocean.

    SR1911 9mm

Fourteen flawless mags thru it of reloads, steel, and FMJ. Trigger is good. Fit and finish is good on mine. Would recommend.

    Shootin' Time

Figured if I spent $120 on the light, it should probably be used. Was on my duty sidearm until I switched to the Inforce. Plus, it keeps the muzzle flat.

    Shootin' Time

Finally got out shooting last week. Took out the Ruger SR1911 LW Commander in 9mm and it did great. 14 magazines....so roughly 126 rounds of flawless. Shot reloads, Wolf steel, PMC, and some Fiocchi. My reloads were Berry's HPs, but I did not shoot any factory HPs. That will be next trip. Like...

Any experience with Freedom Munitions 223 60gr V-Max (new manufactured)?

Shot Freedom .380, .38 spec, .223, and .308. Been shot through a Glock 42, Charter Mag Pug, Smith 442, several ARs, and an Ishapore 2A. No malfunctions and more than acceptable accuracy. Just my experience.

Any of y'all use the Schuster M-1 Garand gas cylinder plug?

+1 for the Garandgear plug. Works great on my rifle.

    Patrol rifle advice

Update I found a "military surplus" gooseneck on Ebay and it worked great. Have not shot with it, but seems stable. The nice folks at Mission First Tactical are sending us a railed handguard to try. Bad news: The gooseneck setup does not fit our long guns racks between the seats. Plus, I...
