What do you consider the perfect trigger pull weight for a 1911. I'm guessing that my two DW commanders are somewhere between 4 and 5 lbs. which seems perfect for a carry piece. On the other hand all of my target pistols are around 3 to 4lbs. My 45 year old series 70 Colt Gold Cup has, after all...

Right now I'm mostly shooting Missouri bullet co. 158gr lead SWC, 's on top of 3.8.4.0 grains of HP-38. Very accurate, mild and fun to shoot load. :)

Haven't seen anything on this in a while so I thought I'd revisit it.:)
