I have a Ruger SP101 that I like and I am looking to add a larger revolver to the collection for range work and home defense. This will be my first 357 Mag but I expect to shoot mostly 38 special.
I went to the local store and handled regular GP100s in 4", 5", and 6" barrel lengths. The 6"...
How big a factor is packaging when you purchase ammo? Personally I like small space-efficient packaging for ammo. The smaller the box the better. I also like plastic trays instead of cardboard dividers or styrofoam.
Taking a look at the picture below of 3 different brands of 300 BLK...
I'm looking at which H&R Handi Rifle barrels to keep and which to sell. I looking for a light shooting round that is economical to reload. This round will be used for punching paper and learning to reload bottleneck rifle cartridges.
Anyone have a preference?
I'm leaning towards 300 BLK...

I like the LCRx but would prefer a...
I'm new to 410's and recent purchased an H&R .410 bore with a full choke. I took it out the range to check the pattern and was very surprised with what I found. The first photo is a 410 bore 2 1/2 Winchester AA with # 9 shot fired at 10 paces. The box is 20 inches wide and the pattern...
