Does anyone have any experience building 2011 style pistols ? Parts , Brands , suppliers to use or avoid ? Fitting parts , tuning magazines ? Any information would be greatly appreciated . Contemplating my next upcoming project . Wanting to step up a level or two .

My first attempt at bedding . Savage 112fvss , GRS composite stock . There are plenty of cavities for bedding compound to go , so my question is do I need to drill out the stock for aluminum pillars ? Rifle will be for longish target shooting, 300 win mag . Thank you in advance .

Kind of an unknown pistol , but fantastic ergonomics , extremely low bore axis and one of the best striker fired triggers I have felt .

Contemplating the next project . I’m thinking 1911 , scoped , compensated , double stack , chambered in 9x25 Dillon to shoot those 147 gr. boat tail bullets at longer ranges. Thoughts and opinions? Should be interesting at least . Edit : Long range for an auto loader .

What would be a good entry level Over Under 12ga. with ejectors ? Doesn’t have to be pretty just a decent brand where I can get parts if the ejectors break . Thank you in advance.

This is simple and easy to make . $2.00 of stainless and a set of grips . If you sell the pistol it would only add to the value . I have posted this before but people keep asking about it . I made that grip panel but a thicker grip panel could be relieved instead . No I don’t make them to sell .

Not a lot of options for red dot mounting on this one . Could have mounted it .250 lower but you would have to remove the top plate to take off the slide for cleaning . Wasn’t appealing to me . Open sights are usable , kinda . All stainless . Time to build a compensator.
