After watching many videos on CZ 75's and PO 9's I am undecided completely on which one . Even people that bought both are undecided on a preference between the 2 . There are pros and cons to each. Which is probably why they have both. Owners of both are very happy with them and all would buy them again . For me it will have a threaded barrel and suppressor sights in 9mm . Both are offered this way. It will get a red dot and a compensator and some Cajun Gun works trigger goodies. Hopefully the High Road will bring out something I have missed. Thanks in advance. This forum has been very helpful to me many times.

There is a little different grip feel between the 75 and P series. I have had multiples if both over the years. Still have the 75 series.

Somewhat comes down to if you want polymer or steel frame. 75 SP01 Phantom is only polymer of the 75 series. Ergos slightly different too. For me it had to be the 75’s. Just handle and shoot better for me. I have the 75b, P01 and Phantom. Of course, I you wanted to add the P10c at some point me be worth going the P0 series since they share mags.

Tried the P07 and the P09; just didn't care for their ergonomics or polymer frame construction. Have yet to see the P10 C. My brother has one of the early CZ75s and while I liked the grip shape it was a bit of a reach to the trigger in double action mode. After years of searching (not many in these parts), I finally found the CZ that was just right for me: the P01. The grip shape is perfect, the trigger is reachable, and the whole package is nice and compact.

Polymer or steel is a toss up to me pros and cons to both , but the P10c option is a good point. Hadn't thought of that. A polymer would get the red dot on the slide (milled ), steel frame would get frame mount. Thank you .

Two of my primary carries are the 75D PCR and the P-07, I love them both. I have other CZ's as well and carry all but the P-09 which is a great shooter, just a little big for me to carry. If FL ever goes open carry and I decide to do that the P-09 will be my go to gun.

I personally do not care for the omega triggers. It is a solution looking for a problem. Have shot 75Bs and Decocker P01 style CZs extensively. Many have come and gone through the years. The ones that stay now are the following. The ergos of the P09 just don't work for me. It is overly large and feels clumsy.

CZ P01 stock except for hammer spring changes. This is a great DA/SA decocker gun. The reach on the DA pull is shorter than the 75B. It fits my hand and points naturally. The forged alloy frame is a light and when I bought it years ago I considered it a poor mans Sig.

I have had CZ 75Bs over the years. I remember when they were $350 NIB. The were always great SAO guns for me but the DA trigger pull length was too long. I would buy them shoot them for a while and then sell them because I did not love the thin safety and they did not work for me as a DA/SA gun. I recently sent my remaining 75B to Cajun Gun Works for their Pro Package with a few extras. If you shoot beyond 15 yards on a regular basis I recommend the 10X bushing. The 85B trigger and the short reach modification puts the trigger exactly where I need it to be for DA/SA and the extended safety makes it perfect for SAO. It is my favorite CZ in the safe these days.

I also picked up a Shadow 2 which is an amazing gun. With the removal of the firing pin block the reset is even faster than the CGW 75B. It is one of the best $1000 guns right out of the box I have ever shot. It is a tank. It is not a carry gun but was built for Production class. It is a tack driver. It does not move in your hand when you shoot it. It exhibits no vertical movement between shots. Fitted with the extended thumb safety the gun is perfect as a SAO gun. The DA/SA feels shorter than the 75B stock but to be honest I run it more as an SA gun. If you are looking for something as a range gun, steel challenge gun or Production class gun this one is hard to beat. You can send it to CGW for a quick fluff and buff and 10X bushing and for about $1400 you have a race gun that will keep up with almost anything out there.

Finally I have a all Steel P01 which I bought directly from CGW. It has the Pro Package installed and night sights, 10X bushing and extend safety on it. The gun is a mini tank. I intend to carry it once it is properly tested and broken in. There have been 2 runs of these guns. The first was around 100 the most recent run was for a contact and about 50 made it into the US which are believed to be contract overruns. It is an amazing little gun.

In the end it comes down to what fits best in your hands. I prefer the ergos of the metal framed CZs but many people like the P07, P09 and P10. I might pick up a P10 one day but it is not high on my list. Enjoy your search.

Thank you! Couldn't have said it better myself!

I started with a 75B SA (SAO), fell in love with it, and got a P07. The P07 was fantastic, but I felt like something was missing from it so I traded it on a P01 and couldn't be happier.
