Heaviest Trigger Pull You've Ever Encountered?

Exactly my experience. Though the PPK/S I had was very heavy in DA, I still like it.

    Looking for fun in .32cal

I like the .32 caliber guns. I also have a 327 Fed Mag revolver that is very fun to shoot. Ruger SP101

    Traded up a cz

Very good trade. I have a P-01 with rail and a 75BD without a rail. Though the rail-less CZs are nicer looking IMO, I like the weight distribution and feel of the railed ones.

    Walther CCP

Been there, done that, gave up. My wife is stubborn scotch. Now she has a SP101 in 327 Fed Mag and is the envy of the household. I've thought about trying the CCP, but there are just too many anecdotal reports of problems with it, for me to make it a carry gun. Then again, if my wife...

Ran across a dang good trade

Yep the Marlin 336 was a good trade in itself. You got the Bersa (a pretty neat pistol) and the scope as icing!!

    Question On Powders

Also recommend the Classic Turret. As for powders, I haven't used n350. I've used Silhouette. It was good for stout loads in 147 gr bullets. Being a slow powder, it was hard for me to get good results in my 124 gr bullets unless I loaded for higher velocities. I tended to get unburnt...

    lee turret press?

ANother vote for the Lee Classic Turret. I started reloading 4 years ago, and "compete" low key in IDPA. It suits my needs fine. One more tip. Don't skimp on your scale. Get a good scale, not the cheap Lee beam scale that comes with the kit. Get something like a RCBS 5-0-5 or 10-10...

    Powder for gentle 9mm loads

anothernewb in post #7 has apparently been reading my loading record book. That's exactly what I like for soft loads. Also 3.9 gr Titegroup with 124 gr plated works pretty well.

Any 9mm handgun with these features available?

The HK P30S will fit your needs. But highly agree with Walt Sherrill: None of my CZ's do this and I've carried them, IWB, OWB and even pocket carried a RAMI. None of them have released the mag unless I intended it to. I would try ordering the spring mentioned previously or at least...

Best gun shops in your city, town or state

Fayetteville, NC Ace Gun and Pawn on Bragg Blvd, not too far from Fort Bragg. Got my slightly used CZ 75BD Police there, traded for my PX4 .45. They've also helped me with shipping my guns to folks and receiving guns. They have new guns but also some interesting used guns. Best of all...

    Pair of S&W Autos

I too am envious. Love deals like that. My son did really well on a police trade in Shorty 45

What is the last gun that you bought?

HK P2000sk LEM v2 Very reliable

    Talon Grips

Love them. Had them on the following: HK P2000sk (my current carry gun) Walther P99 Beretta PX4

And all metal gun for a plastic lover

I love CZs. But if you're looking for a "same trigger pull every time", I handled a Beretta Cougar DAO that had a very smooth trigger. Felt great in the hand. I think Stoeger still makes them.

Opinions on the best Hi-Cap pistol in 9mm

CZ 75BD (if you like decockers) CZ 75 B (if you like safeties). By the way, parts are cheap and plentiful for the CZ. There are at least 4 places I order parts from, at a good price. I haven't had a part break, but they are very fun to modify to your liking. You can tailor the recoil spring...

Finally added this "old" CZ to my collection

Nice collection. I am starting to develop an interest in the older guns.
