I have a. 22 Mag / 22 LR convertable used to carry it as a BUG. It was sent back to the factory for light strikes. It is now a safe queen. I now have a Kel Tec P32 and LCP for BUG / deep concealment.
I have RA and am back to carrying two Airweight J frames. When I am in a flare up I can't count on being able to get a sufficient enough grip on my G27 or reliably rack the slide. I have always shot better with my revolvers. The last time I shot the LEOSA qualification course the instructor...
The. 32 ACP fired from a Kel Tec P32 will have less perceived recoil than a. 380 fired from an LCP. I have my P32 loaded with Fiocchi 73 gr. FMJ. I want the penetration. The. 380 hollow points will most likely not give you the desired 12 to 18 inch penetration with the possible exception of the...
I am thinking of buying a Taurus 738 TCP for a BUG or primary when circumstances require stealth. Has yours been reliable? Alternatives? I would most likely keep it loaded with Fiocchi FMJ. Thanks in advance.
I have a Smith 432PD I bought new back in 2004. I carry a 442 daily and sometimes the 432 PD as a BUG. Is it possible and safe to carry 32 ACP Fiocchi FMJ in the 432 occasionally? I have several hundred rounds of the Fiocchi on hand for my Kel Tec P32. Additionally which do you think would would...
Yes it does and I have experienced a few FTF and FTE on my Glocks over the years. The most recent on my LEOSA qualification. I qualify in both pistol and revolver anually in FL.
The Smith 642 is the Stainless version the 442 the " blued version" otherwise the same . If you want the option of single action functionality with the ease of draw that the "humpback" offers the Smith model 638 is the ticket...
I retired from NYPD in 1988 and carried a model 36 off duty and as a BUG on duty. Now in Florida I carry a 442 with crimson trace laser grips loaded with Speer Gold Dots 135 gr JHP and an LCP. I shoot my revolvers better than my Glocks. Old dogs I guess . :D

I am considering adding the CA .44 special to my rotation. Does anyone have experience with the Bulldog .44? If you do what is your carry load? Thanks.
Interesting thread. The talk of a limited budget got me thinking wouldn't a used revolver even though it may cost more than a comparable semi be better when you consider the couple of hundred rounds most say you should put through a carry / hd pistol?
