I have a 1908 Colt 25 ACP with a broken sear spring. I ordered a replacement from Numrich, but take a look at the attached image. The new spring is in the foreground, and the original (obviously broken) spring is in the background. The replacement matches the schematic on the Numrich site...
Yep. I agree. It would be hard to get closer to the cutoff of ser. no. 150,000 than mine (148,XXX). Interesting little bugger, and just as designed by J.M. Browning, with no frills or add ons.
I have a very early FN 1905 Vest Pocket .25 ACP pistol, serial number 148,XXX. There's no safety lever, only the grip safety. Does anyone know the date of manufacture?
