    Hunting pics.

Nothing wrong with that set up. There's plenty of targets just outside the front or back door usually.

School me on the Benjamin 392

The 392 is a fun shooter. It is pretty effective on small game. I took a raccoon with one at about 10 yds with a heart / lung shot. Stopped it in it's tracks. I have had mine for about 10 or so years. I use the open sights, but have had a scope on mine before. I would not hesitate to...

    Benjamin NP2 review

Here is a review I posted on another forum, GTA. I hope it's helpful here. I ordered a Benjamin NP2 after the first ones with issues started hitting the streets. I figured that the next groups would be right. I have to say I'm glad I waited. I ordered from Pyramid Air and noticed the...

Best production air rifle for hunting small game?

Pete, do a little research. I'll bet you can find a 392 for under 150 shipped if you do your homework. Don't be afraid of a re-manufactured one either. They are a great gun and would be nice for hunting. When you get more money, get a scope. No recoil, only eight pumps for max velocity...

    Crossman Trapmaster 1100

They are a very cool gun. I bought one on another forum and it would not hold air. They were designed after the Remington 1100. They look like a .410 1100. They fire small shot cartridges. I have spoken to a man who still makes the cartridges. I purchased a few hundred from him and sent...

How far do you shoot your air rifle?

I tried out my 853's today at 30 or so yards. Plenty of drop. When I corrected, a few grouped nicely. That was just with the standard Daisy peep sights. Any further with them and I'm not sure. My .22 Marauder will go out to fifty yards with the mil dot scope and some good habits on my...

I am looking for advice on air guns.

I would recommend to the OP that he check the main air gun sales sites such as Pyramid, Airgun Depot, etc. See what is in your price range and what you like. Do you want wooden stocks or plastic, does a scope need to be in the package deal, .22 or .177. I agree with the others that 50...

To pump or not to pump

I have had a Crosman 1377 for about 20 years. It is just as good as when I bought it. I liked it so much I picked up a 1322 when they came out. I leave one pump in them after I am done shooting. Good luck with your purchase. Let us know what you get.

    Who likes Gransfors Bruks?

They sure are sharp. I recently got a small forest axe and I love it. It's the best axe I've ever handled.

    Old Buck General

That is a nice General. It's too bad Buck stopped making them. They are a fine knife. Congratulations on getting it for a song.

Which .22 Revolver would you pick?

If price is a factor, look for a used Ruger single six. It will be a fun gun to target shoot with and you could hunt small game with it if you want.
