Thanks guys for your replies. Sounds like good advice. I feel much more informed and at ease now about loading for a gun I have had no experience loading for. Also, will one size bullet versus the other (.452 vs .454) make a noticeable difference in accuracy?

Thanks dullone. It's usually about 15 to 20 percent as I have said. Have done some other research online and I'm pretty much convinced that this IS normal for the mini 14.

Thanks cheygriz. I appreciate the reply and info. Question was asked because I have a reloader friend who gave me some 44 mag bullets he purchased and after receiving them, he discovered the weights of the varied 2 to 3 grains high and low.
I beg your indulgence if I am asking an already answered question. How much will accuracy be affected by bullets that are 1 or 2 grains overweight or underweight?
