wojownick, You can be assured I'm not trolling to get a response. I could care less. What I said was true. The ones to take offense to what I said ar e usually tight wads who want everything for nothing and have some sort of mental block that won't allow them to spend the money it takes to get a...
The .40 S&W is a great round. I have a new Sig P229 elite stainless in .40 cal. And I love it. I use underwood ammo's load with the 180 grain speer gold dots at 1100 fps.
I also had a new glock 31 .357 sig that I sold to get something else and I miss that gun so I am gonna get another one...
Deaf Smith, I hear it in gun shops frequently. People bashing the 9mm and saying the .380 is worthless. It's amusing really but it's just not true. So far none of thr people saying this stuff aren't willing to be shot square on the chest with a .380 or 9mm to back up there rant.
Col. Jankoski, Good stuff right there. Nice to here a voice of reason.
dogtown tom, uh huh exactly what I'm talkin about.
There are plenty of hot 9mm 115 grain rounds that will kill you stone dead but will not go through someone. No worries there.
The .357 sig is the best carry round for citizens and law enforcement thay we currently have. It is very popular with law enforcement agencies especially so in Texas. Check out the ballistics of it on underwood ammos web site especially the rounds loaded with the bonded gold dot bullets in 125 &...
I think you guys should read about what happened in Texas. The state police were on patrol and had pulled over a semi. I can't remember why.
There were two officers, a veteran and a new recruit. A shoot out insued. The veteran officer had a .45 and it would not penetrate the cab of the truck...

Heck no!!!
I'm gonna tell it like it is. ANY new 1911 for $399 is no deal at all. When it comes to 1911's you get what you pay for. For $399 your getting a piece of junk. I don't care if you have to save up money for two years, do it and get a top notch gun. If your not spending $1100-$1200 and...
No I'm not trying to make anyone mad I'm really not. I still here so many people saying the 9mm is worthless and the .45 acp is king and carry a real gun. I love the .45 acp. I have a $2000 hard chromed Colt custom shop special combat government competition 1911 that was made in May of 2004 and...
My full size Kimber Custom Aegis II with 5" barrel and wilson mags stoked with federal 147 +P HST. I also love and use ammo from underwood loaded with speer bonded gold dots. With underwoods 115 +P+ gold dots I get 1470 fps!!! That = 551.94 ft/lbs of muzzle energy!!! Recoil is very light. I...
The 52 grainers work fine. I had a lot better accuracy with 50 grain speer tnt's and 40 and 50 grain nosler ballistic tips. Those three bullets do serious damage on game. I busted a groundhog one sunny afternoon that was across the field from me standing up on his hind legs looking at me. Bullet...
Sorry I had to do that paul but it's the truth. One thing about me is I don't lie about stuff. I'm a tell it like it is and callem as I see them kinda guy. I've loaded for and shot thousands of .222 rounds. I would have no problem saying that I know as much about the .222 temington as any body...
Hangingrock, You are correct it is called the .28 Nosler. All I was thinking was it's a 7nm caliber .284 diameter. I think by studying the case dimensions and the shoulder angle and the rate at which the cartridge tapers and it's a beltless case. I like it a lot. With the right barrel length...
tallpaul, If you don't want that remington triple deuce sign me up!! The .222 remington was the first cartridge I ever reloaded for. The rifle was a cooper arms varmint extreme. It had a beautiful french walnut stock with a skeleton grip cap and skeleton but plate. It had a blued reciever and a...
Honrstly I want to her from unbiased people who have shot it, reloaded for it, and those who have actually chronographed it. I have been away from rifles and reloading for several years after I lost all vision in my right eye due to a detached retina from years and years of diabetes that I got...
There's no doubt I would put on top notch sights and probably a bar-sto or lone wolf match barrel. Yes i have experience with 10mm's, .357's, .44 mags, .40 s&w's, 9mm's, and I currently carry a .45 acp. I'm just real curious how accurate that factory Glock barrel would be. I can definitely do my...
I don't know if the Beretta 84 is a locked breech design but it sure felt great in my hand and had enough weight to make me think it would be really a soft recoiling gun. I really want an accurate .380 also.
Thinking about ordering a Glock 20 SF (short frame) this week and just wondered how good the accuracy was with this gun? The model 20 has the 4.6" barrel. Also how's the recoil. I plan on shooting some double tap ammo out of it. The 135 grain nosler jhp at 1600 fps.
