I've been happy with both Spikes and Stag.
The Spikes rifle I have, I put together myself. It was very easy and I got the features I wanted without paying for stuff I didnt want.
PSA has great deals and that's what I would probably do if I ever wanted another AR
I have about 1500 rounds through my Springfield MC Operator.
Runs great. I only have 250 rounds through my Dan Wesson. It's had a few teething problems but it's much tighter and has better attention to detail than the Springfield.
Once I have the DW broken in, ill carry it. The MC...
It maybe a case of adding an authorized piece of equipment for vary specific situations.
Like MARSOC units operating with a foreign military that uses glocks.
It
I may consider one as a replacement for my colt .380 government. I love the little colt but is definitely an up close gun as accuracy stinks past 5 yards. I still carry it but feel like it's a poor compromise and am starting to carry a Dan Wesson ECO 9 as soon as I get a good holster for it...
I won't carry a clean gun. Maybe I didn't put it back together again.
I don't keep them dirty dirty but my carry gun and night stand gun gets test fired after cleaning.
I put a Heine ez lock sight on mine and I put a different thumb safety that wasn't as sharp on it too. I haven't carried it but certainly would in its current configuration. Runs great.
I wish I'd keep my DalyHP. The finish is really nice the sights are good and it is easy to c&s parts it. I sold it bc I.hated the roll Mark. Short sided of me. It really was a nice gun and would have been perfect to keep in car or pack.
I have had 8 1911s. 2 needed slight adjustments to either the magazines I was using or a bit more extractor tension. The others worked 100% I still have 2. Both work 100%
I change the springs every 3000 rounds and inspect the mags. I get rid of any mags that have been damaged by dropping...
knob,thanks for laugh.
As kid I watched Magnum P I quite a bit. Magnum was my go to show when I was home sick. Ill still watch it if it's on tv.
Back on topic, I remember seeing boxes of surplus 9mm marked not for sten on big black letters. I assumed it was because it wouldn't cycle a...
Tark I don't know who you are or where you work but amen to that.
I have never ever seen someone so enraged as the guy at my local ipda match who turned purple trying to rack the slide on his brand new Baer. Admitted, it was a beautiful gun and I'm sure it broke it eventually but that day, in...
Not a hi power. The recoil guide rod sticking out below the barrel on the front of the slide is incorrect for a hi power as is the thickened slide rail area.
MAB pistol is probably correct especially given the French activity in large parts of Africa in the 50s 60s and 70s.
I also hesitate to buy an 1911 that has been customized.
I once bought a used Colt Combat Elite with a "match" trigger.
The sear was very much over cut and dangerous. Luckily I have developed a habit of load only one round when firing a used gun for the first time.
Glad I did with that...
