    Magazine Storage

Mine is really getting out of hand with so many different magazines. How do you store yours? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No wonder Non Residents aren't Deer Hunting

I never really thought about it. I buy my Resident Sportsman's License every year for Fishing, Small Game, and Gun Deer. $60.00, hardly painful. I was talking to a Game Warden and I remarked I hadn't encountered many out of state Hunter's in the last couple of years. He told me your basic...

    Kinda Rare Or Not?

Doing the insurance workup I needed a price for a CZ52 in 9 MM. Shiny slide to make it look civilian. Take a shot at what it's worth if you don't mind. I'm at the guessing stage myself. Oh, it's like new I may have fired it 10 times.

    US Arisaka’s

A recent thread about which Military bolt action was the best stirred my memory. Didn’t the US Army use captured Arisakas during our involvement in the 1919 Russian revolution? I swear I read somewhere, for some reason they had use captured Arisakas much to their disgust. Maybe it was the...

    8MM Yugolslavian at Centerfire Systems

Whoever posted this, thank you. I bought 5,000 rounds of this stuff 10 years ago and it still shoots like new. I picked up another 600 rounds when I saw your post. This IS corrosive, so clean accordingly and enjoy. Yugo and Czech rifles are both accurate with it.

    7.62 X 39 MM Compared to .30/30

My Son shot his first Whitetail with an Chinese SKS "Paratrooper" Carbine. One shot at about 70 yards and the fairly large Doe was down and out. A good Friend of mine shot his four pointer this year with his Yugoslavian SKS. Again, one shot was all it took. Some compare the SKS round to the...

    CZ TS2

I was browsing a big box store and saw this beckoning to me. I talked the clerk into taking off the trigger lock so I could test it. I left with it.

    Sig P322 Send back?

I'm getting way too many light strikes with my Sig P322. The gun is well within warranty so sending it back is not an issue, but with CCI I get very few light strikes, hardly any with Blazer, with Remington Golden Bullets I get some, but not many, and with Agulia forget it! Five per 20 round...

    Colt Series 70 .45

I have an offer to buy my Colt series 70 but the prices I see are all over the place. Here it is. A basic Series 70 in .45. I'm the original owner. It's been fired quite a bit and carried a lot, but still in very good shape with the original Colt magazines. I would appreciate any thoughts on...

    CZ P-01 vs. P-01 Omega

I would appreciate any pro's or con's of the P-01 Omega over the P-01. My P-01 is 20 years old and I'm looking for an excuse to buy a new one.

Springfield Arms XD .45 locking back Slide with rounds remaining

My Son told me his XD was malfunctioning so I tested it out by loading two 13 round magazines with 230 Grain Remington FMJ. I fired all 26 rounds without a hitch. Then I loaded one magazine with 185 Grain Remington Golden Saber and the other with Hornady 185 Grain nylon tipped HP. Both...

    Caniks

I see them being roasted on other Forums. Not for bad accuracy or reliability, just that "There's too many of them flooding the market." Odd kind of complaint. I have no experience with the guns, just what I've read. I have read some good reviews on them. Any opinions?

    Yugoslavian 59/66 SKS

I'm heading out to a Gun Show and thought I would sell one of my Yugo SKS's. I bought it years ago in a "Crate" sale. I'm thinking $600.00, No rust, or dings, pretty much new except for 20 rounds put through it to zero it at 100 yards. Too much? Too little, what do you think?

    That Darn Sticker

I recently bought a Winchester Wildcat mainly because it's already threaded for a suppressor. It had one of those white and red "Winchester" stickers on the barrel and I can't get the thing off. I can't scraper it off without damaging the blueing which is not great to begin with, (A...

    Sticker removal

I don't know why gun manufacturers have to put those advertising stickers on the guns they sell but they do. On the barrels no less. Can someone give a hint how to get the blessed thing off without marring the blueing? Thanks for any help. (The Winchester one is like super glued on.)

.22 Rifle wanted with a threaded barrel

I have a suppressor coming (someday) and while it's primary use would be pistols I would like a .22 Rifle to go with it. Any suggestions and source would be appreciated. I was looking at a Winchester Wildcat, but not sure of a source. Thank you for any help.

Why Didn't You Buy Those C&R's?

I've seen this come up on numerous Forums: "I could have bought a crate of 10 Chinese or Russian SKS's for $60 each" "I saw Walther P-38's for $150 each." "CZ 82's with two magazines, holster and cleaning rod for $180.00 shipped." Usually goes on and on with just about every Military Surplus...

    Substitute Shotgun Ammunition

I hunt Upland Birds with Remington 12 Gauge number 7 1/2 high brass rounds. Unfortunately, try to find some. So I bought comparable shells of Aguila and Herter's manufacture. Surprise, surprise, they won't function in my Browning A-5 or Remington 1100. I don't know if they are lighter on...

    S&W SDVE 9MM

I got one NIB at a gun show and like it but the trigger is like 8 pounds plus. It makes shooting my CZ 9's feel like they have a custom trigger. Any advice on a kit to tame that trigger pull? A kit maybe? Any help would be appreciated.
