Arghh!!! Help me find an M&P 9 take down lever please.

I don't much want to talk about it. When field stripping my pistol the take down lever hit the ground and vanished. I even combed the area with a large magnet. I'm having zero luck finding one online. Anyone know where I might find one? Thanks. Joe

    Barrel shroud templates

I'm trying to find a template for a barrel shroud similar to that of a M1919A4 for a non firearm purpose. I'm sure I could measure and drill one myself, but it would be so much easier if I could just print out a pattern to copy. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Odds please

I was in the shop doing a few things, and as life is, there were a few loose primers on the floor. I reached for my drill index, opened it, and the second to largest bit in a standard index fell out. It hit the floor, but on the way struck a primer setting it off and making me jump out of my...

Mind my own business, or inform carrier?

So I'm standing in line at the a grocery in AZ. There is a gentleman in front of me, I'd say he's about 65 years old. He is carrying OTWB, open top holster at 5:00. His shirt in untucked, except in the 5:00 area, where his shirt is behind his pistol exposing it completely. Seriously, I...

Can I gift my daughter a gun?

My Daughter is visiting from CO. I'm thinking about giving her one of my pistols for Christmas. Can I do this?

    Anyone know what this is?

It was found along a river in AL or MS about 60 years ago. There appears to be no markings whatsoever on the barrel. The wood has not been removed to look for any markings given the fragile condition of it. Obviously the ram or whatever it's called is not original.

Don't want to get into trouble

I have an old Springfield 67H. 12ga. This is one LONG gun. I mean you pull the trigger, and a few minutes later the shot exits the end of the barrel in the next county. I want to shorten it up into a critter blaster for my wife. (she's had it with squirrels tearing up her garden) She has a...

    Lee Loadmaster Gremlins.

As anyone who owns a loadmaster knows, you can't let them sit for very long, or the gremlins will probably show up, and put everything out of whack. A friend suggested leaving a radio on in the shop, either to deter the gnomes, or to keep the press from getting lonley. (I haven't tried it yet.)...

    Feeling a bit snarky.

Lots and lots of rhetoric in the rags again. I'm sorry, but these guys getting together and showing up in restaurants with rifles is a bit much, even for me. There's a right time and a right place for everything, but blatantly freaking folks out because it's legal, and you can just seems...

I'm about ready to buy a small hammer and...

I'm about ready to buy a small hammer and...start priming that way. The loadmaster looks like they've now "improved" their primer feeder for the umpteenth time, and the midway reviews are as bad as they ever were. I liked my loadmaster when the primer feed worked. I started looking into...

You can't park this in NewYork or Chicago.

I really love Arizona and the West. Try driving this down the highway anywhere else. :neener: No, I don't own it.:(

    What gun....

What gun did you always want but couldn't afford, but then you could afford it, but wasn't sure you really still wanted it, but went and bought it anyway, and decided you didn't like it because it turned out not to be the gun you really wanted, so you put it away, then a little while later you...

    Interesting video. Barrel whip.

Excuse me if this has been posted before. I've never seen such a thing as barrel whip before. I'm going to assume that the bullet has left the barrel by the time the wobble starts. I'm also going to assume if this guy wasn't wearing glasses, he'd have a black eye...

    M&P 9mm mags

I've been waiting around for S&W to restock their magazines. They're still not up to speed. but most strangely is that their web site doesn't even show the 17 round magazine any more. Everything is 7-10 rounds. Are they restricted from "hi cap" mag prodution, or what?

    Loadmaster users, question.

I've had mine for about 6 years. After my first primer slider dealie messed up, I purchased a handful of both large and small replacements. I just inserted my last small feeder and went online to buy more. I see they upgraded, or made design changes, and that I need to replace the whole primer...

    Are there Lee loadmaster Gremlins?

I swear, I can sit down and have a thousand round session with only the occasional hiccup. I finish the session with everything working fine, and come back a day or two later, same everything, and it will take 15 minutes of jacking around to get the press warmed up and operating smoothly again...

    Reactive target. A bad idea.

I cleaned out some drawers, and removed something that I don't even have a player for anymore. VCR tapes. I set a few up at my south 40 dirt berm range. I hit the first one square in the full reel. It was quite spectacular. My range now has VCR tape blowing all over it, and hanging in the...

How many guns will fire when dropped?

I don't generally drop any of my guns. But how many are out there that will fire when dropped? Does it need to be cocked first? Will it fire if it lands on the hammer with one in the chamber? I can't imagine any modern day gun being built that would allow this to happen.
