I have read some reviews of this gun online that suggest it is pretty darn accurate...we'll see ;)

after i pick it up i'll post some pics on this thread. the wood on it is a little beat-up as i had said, but to be honest i actually like the "broken-in" look on some guns...especially a classic looking rifle like this one. hopefully it shoots good. :)

I recently bought a Remington 760 Gamemaster 30-06 pump action rifle. Bought it used in decent condition including a scope and sling for about $340 (plus tax/fees) All the metal is very clean and taken care of, but the wood is a little worn from use. (doesn't bother me) I'm not a hunter...

as long as the religious right (and others) have a stranglehold on the GOP, they'll never take someone like Ron Paul seriously. true, Ron Paul is a Libertarian at heart, but the GOP stands for something much different than the Libertarian Party, IMO. too bad Ron Paul stands no chance anyway...
