I used Mother's polish to brighten up my stainless 686+ and it cleans up easier now as well since the surface is soother as another poster pointed out. I don't use it on the cylinder face though, just a brass brush and solvent there.

Strongly suggest you check a rotor each session, especially for powder like Clays that go from mild to wild very quickly.
I like my Little Dandy a bunch - very handy
I use a Rock Chucker bolted to an oak board, which is then C clamped to a Black & Decker workmate bench. Compact, can be broken down easily.
I use an RCBS Lil' Dandy powder dispenser, hand held. Fine for pistol but might not work so well for rifle.
I have both and prefer the Eotech on my AR. I like the wider field of view - might just be psychological. My Aimpoint had ataller mount so it had less of the front sight assembly in view, but easy enough to get used to with the Eotech with some practice.
Trying the Aimpoint on my FAL, but...

+1 on the MTM die storage box. It comes with a plastic molding with holes for the dies and pegs I put the shellholer on. I have Hornady LNL bsuhings on my dies, but they fit fine.
UL tags are very conservative - I would be surprised if a device actually consumed the full nameplate rating. 60 to 80% is more likely.
If you really want to know, there's a doodad out there called a killawatt meter that plugs in inline with a device and measure the power. Don't get me...
Newbie here with a noob question.
What do you think about reloading .357 mag cases with .38 special load data for cheap plinking ammo? Any safety concerns?
From Speer and Hornady manuals, there's generally 1 grain or less difference in starting loads, but niether manual lists a 148 grain...
I'm a reloading newbie, but am happy with a Rockchucker with the Hornady LNL bushing adapter - changing dies takes 5 seconds.
I mounted the press to a pair of oak boards (each 3/4" thick, 8" deep, 18" wide) and then C clamp the boards to a B&D workmate bench. Easy to tear it down for...
Dies, presses, powder measures, etc. will still be OK as far as I know, at least for now...
As you might infer from the term "bullet tips", the policy types at eBay are not gun or reloading savvy.
If some nutcase uses reloaded ammo in a publicized crime, more items will be banned. Its all...
