    Mass LTC Post-Bruen

Has anyone begun the permitting process for Mass Post-Bruen? I took a look and the Mass Website still has the Non-Resident Application from 2021/Need for LTC on it, they have not updated the form. Should I wait until that's corrected or submit and risk a rejection?

    NSCA Registered Event Rates

After 20 years of shooting sporting clays for fun, I figured I would register with the NSCA and shoot some registered events. I was wondering what event rates you guys are paying and do you think it's worth it?

Deer Gun Season Weapon of Choice

Tomorrow will be my first MD Deer season in a few. The area is shotgun only but we can use muzzleloaders during modern gun season. Eevery year I find myself leaving the slug-gun at home and using the muzzleloader all season long. Anyone else skip the shotguns and rifles and go for the...

    Figuring out hunting properties

After a few years off with little ones, I hit the road for the opening day of duck season and I'm glad I scouted before. Water levels on this WMA were very low, consolidating an already over hunting parcel. I scouted Thursday and found a hole holding water and 10 or so wood ducks, made sure not...

    Limitation on additional GC bills

In the current environment we may be looking at universal background checks. We know its a feel good for anti-gunners. My question is if we conceded a UBC bill AND added a stipulation that if passed, the Fed could not add any new gun control bills for 25 years(or X), has anything of that nature...

    Help ID this muzzleloader pistol

I need some help IDing this percussion cap ML pistol. My grandfather was a civil war buff and in the 60s and 70s he searched fields and found Minnie balls and round balls from Antietam battlefields. He also had this pistol in his stash of Civil war items. I started disassembly of it yesterday...

Steel Plate Match using Frangible. Which gun?

I'm going to do a steel plate match next month with a neighbor. My options are 627PC or my Caspian Commander. If I run the 627 Im using moon clips vs everyone else with a Semi. My concern with the 1911 is 45acp Frangible going to have enough force to cycle the slide with regularity? I will drop...

    308 175gn FMJ Options

I'm getting ready to do another bulk run of 308 for my PTR-91. Mine seems to like 175gn Sierras and 168gn AMAX, not so much the 147 and 150s. Id like to find something in the 175 class with the tougher jackets than the Sierras, something more like the 150gn Hornady FMJ'S. Any suggestions?

    Browning Auto-5 Value Help

Does anyone have any insight on value on factory new Browning Auto 5s from 1910-1930? I found a collector that has a stack of them in 12, 16 and 20. I had a chance to take a look at the boxes and they truly are factory wrapped over 100 years old in some cases.

POTS DACA appeal - Change of tactics for firearms litigation?

Question for the legal scholars. "The Justice Department announced Tuesday that it will appeal U.S. District Judge William Alsup's decision both to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and to the Supreme Court — something it admitted was a rare step. “It defies both law and common...

45 Colt Ruger Only Load Question

Im starting load workup for my new Redhawk in 45LC using 300gn XTP Mags (I have a bunch for my muzzleloader load). I found load data from Handloader #213 which is a "best load" of AA#9 at 21.5gns through a Ruger Blackhawk. Obviously Im going to start low and work up but doesn't that seem...

    45 Reload Sizing Problem

I just got done a bulk run of 1k 45 rounds. They are Xtreme plated 45 HP and 4.8gns of 231, mixed brass. My problem is 1 out of every 8-10 rounds wont fully chamber during live fire. I duplicated the issue at home and noticed that i had some wear (highlighted in red) on the case where the base...

    Reloading components suppliers taking Bitcoin

Does anyone know of any online reloading retailers that take bitcoin payment? Ive saved up enough over the past 3 years to buy a lot of reloading supplies and that new 4" Model 29. I can convert it to cash but its more lucrative to keep it Btc. Also I read that at one time (maybe) Georgia Arms...
