    Appearance of Yugo M48 versus K98 Mauser?

    Other than the intermediate length action, the Yugo M48 seems to have a top handguard that covers more of the rifle than a Karabiner 98. But is that the only difference? Superficially at least, they appear quite similar. I'm not a reenactor or anything, just curious.
