I've loaded about 2500 rounds with mine with no issues. Generally I leave it full of powder between sessions as well.

I ran out the numbers recently and not counting my initial investment for the press and such I can load 100 .45 FMJ for right at $20. If I bought in more bulk, I could lower that. I shoot Glocks so straight lead is out. So I save around $10 per hundred on FMJ and around $80 per hundred on JHP...

I just finished loading my first 1k of .45 and have shot about 500 of them with zero problems so I am ready to move on to some other things. I can get decent hp rounds for $20/100 (Hornady XTP)so at the very least this would seem to be a good opportunity to shoot a carry type ammo on a regular...

Is it possible to see a ruling where the semi auto ban is broken up and fees are found to be constitutional as long as they are well documented and reasonable without it going to a higher court than the DC district court??

Yup, I'm a smaller guy and have the same gun. I have shot 00 and 000 magnum loads through it, and you're right, it's a beast. But it isn't meant for trap shooting. I keep it near the bed for my hd weapon. If I have to practice I shoot as many 00 loads as my right hand can handle and shoot...

Also, with reference to smartcarry vs. sob, I would rather sweep my butt than my junk. Plus if something were to happen, like an ad with an sob, there's a good chance it's not going to hit much. In a smart carry, it could change your religion. :D
