I buy mostly from SGAMMO...and have alway been very pleased with their prices and service.
Recently, I stocked up on .38 specials (158 grain SWC) from Georgia Arms. Got 1000 rounds delivered for $232...or $11.60 per 50. Much better than the $19/50-box Walmart wants for Federal .38.
Thanks...I love them...and they will be passed on to my son (8yrs now).
I am trying to keep the collection to these four...but it is hard when I see good buys on other 2nd and 3rd generations models.
You will want more 3rd generations...I tend to like them :)
Top left is my transitional 645 (a 4506 that is stamped 645...before they switched to the 4506 stamp at the factory)
Below it is it's little brother...4516.
To the right is my 5906 and the little brother 6906
Thanks for all of the input and support. Very happy with the purchase...I will have to wait about 30 more days till I have the money to pay it off...so I know time will drag.
I must tell this story...the day I put the 645 away...I had been watching on Auction Arms a S&W 6906...that was being...
Thanks for everyone's imput. From looking around the web...seems to be a well-liked item. The fact that Crocket used in Miami Vice seals the deal. I am a child of the 80's and that was a show I loved...still do and now that I have a 645...may have to go on Amazon and buy the first couple of...
Went last night to get a sandwich...and my sandwich place is next to the gun shop. Had not stopped in for a few weeks to see what used guns they had...so I stopped in.
Found they had a Smith and Wesson 645...that came with three mags. Had one of the guys pull it and it was nice....would...
Thanks for the comments. I forgot to include that this 686 had been sent back...it has the M stamped above the model number.
I paid $450 for the gun...and from what I can find...not too bad of a price. The box is original to the gun and looks like in good shape. Box came with all of the...
Here is my new Smith and Wesson 686-1. I have a Ruger Security Six and a SP101...and have always wanted to get a S&W revolver. About a year ago I walked away from a 586 at a local gun shop...and have kicked my self since. Found this at Yankee Artifacts and they listed it as LNIB...the pics...
Glad to post...funny how something like a shotgun can bring back all sorts of fond memories...stuff that I have not thought of for sometime.
I will have to go through my pictures...I believe I have pictures of me after the opening day of pheasant season when I was thirteen and had the 1500...
I have not looked lately...but you can usually find some Winchoke's on Gun Broker. If you are interested in getting other chokes. I almost spent the money and bought an extra-full choke and a skeet choke...but thought why? The three chokes I have serve me well....and I can spend the money...
Add me as a owner of a 1500...have had mine since it was given to my as a b-day present by father when I turned 13...in 1980. I carried it through many Nebraska cornfields during pheasant season and it always served me well. I plan to hold on to mine as it is still in great shape...and give it...
My local Super Wally World has now removed all of the price tags for Blazer Brass ammo and is now putting scopes and binoculars on the shelves...looks to me they are not going to sell it anymore...
