I've owned both and must say that I've found the standard blackhawk grip to be preferable in that it provides a little better hold on the gun. The super blackhawk hunter is a little barrel heavy so the flare at the back end of the standard grip helps me to keep it pointed more easily. Since .44...
Quick and easy one here...
I'm considering buying either a Remington 700 BDL or a CDL in 30-06. I like the BDL because I like the Monte Carlo stock. I seem to be able to bring the rifle scope up to my eye more easily without dropping my head as far down or pull my elbow as high up as the...
I tested some...
I tested several Rugers this week with the new trigger and they all broke clean at around 5 lbs. I really like them and would have no problem going with the new Ruger rifle. Felt a heck of a lot better than the stock Remington triggers.

That's interesting...
I can't see any thumbnails. Just an empty space where they are supposed to be. For some reason I cannot see all the attachments or thumbnails on THR...no problem on The Firing Line...but THR gives me problems.

Please help me out here Trac because the ATF clearly states:
Please clarify? It seems pretty straightforward to me that you have to notify even if you are sending to a licensee in any state.

Well, it happened again...
I went to FedEx the other day to ship a pistol I had sold and, as required by the ATF, I told the FedEx lady that I had an unloaded firearm to ship to a licensed dealer and requested a larger box to put my box in. I had it inside the manufacturer's locked container...
Just put my EMP on layaway. It really does look and feel good. I like the grips too...not too abrasive in my hand (felt slightly worn) but still easy to grip. Also, everything about it is tight and feels/looks as though it was precisely made. $979.00 plus tax.

I think I've found it...
Hi guys...thanks for your response. I'm much better now.
I was talking with some guys at Handloads.com and they seem to think that the 325 gr. Cast Performance Bullets that I've just started using has a crimp groove/shoulder angled so as to cause the Lee crimp die to...
Man...I'm mad as **** because I've just wasted 23 rounds of premium handloads (cast perf bullets and stuff) for my .45 Colt because my Lee Factory Crimp Die is seating the bullets an additional .020 of an inch deeper when I use a heavy crimp (one full turn of adjustment knob). It'll seat the...
I found a Ruger Bisley in .44 mag for $269.00 in 99% condition and couldn't pass it up. I've been trying to find a bisely for a conversion project and now I have no excuse. The problem is that now I don't have $1200 - $2000 to do a full blown conversion (like John or Dustin Linebaugh or Bowen)...
I like it.

"Regrettably, I've never found the baby Kel-Tec's to be acceptably reliable. I've owned two P3-AT's and three P32's, and not one would go 200 rounds without a stoppage (or more than one) of some kind. Since I regard the classic 200-rounds-without-any-problems...
Maybe I missed something....
But I did not get the warm & fuzzy as far as objectiveness is concerned. If you remember in the beginning of the program, Koppel prefaced the story by implying that mainstream media (which Koppel is a part of) is not on the side of the NRA. Then the rest of the...
