    Good fit

To make a long story short, I was in a old John boat out on our pond back on October 31. Boat got flipped. Among other things I had my Pietta 1860 .44 with 5inch bbl. I have always used the eraser end of a pencil to “ seat “ the caps. Gun was under water less than a minute. When I got on land I...

They sold really well but they just disappeared. Outside of maybe 1 or 2 at a gun show your out of luck. So what happened ? Would...

    Uberti Schofield owners

Just picked up a Uberti Schofield 5 inch in .45 Colt. Imported by Cimarron. Love the gun but years of shooting Rugers, Colt and Remington clones makes the grip of the Schofield seem really off. How long did it take to used to the Schofield or did you ever. I want this to be my “keeper” 6 gun.

    Reload question

Several years ago some buddies and I got into IDPA shooting we all had 1911's and eventually started to reload. We cast our own bullets from lead wheel weights in 45 caliber which worked great. Very little or no leading. So we tried it with 9 mm and the result was a lot of leading in the barrel...

    Revolver light primer strikes

    Let’s talk blow-backs

ok when talking about blowback pinned barrel guns what would happen if the pin was removed ? Pressure builds up in chamber, round starts moveing and recoil is created. So the round should drag the barrel forward. since the recoil should mostly be directed against the breech face the only real...

Picked up a Zastava M70. For those of you who have held one you know she is made from a big chunk of steel. I would like to make a hotter load for it where I would end up with something like a +p+. So can someone suggest a fairly warm load to start working with ? I would like to use a heavy FMJ...

    zastava M70 .32 ACP

just seeing if anyone has checked their M70 ( Zastava single action ) pistol to see if the fireing pin is free floating or “live” meaning protruding when the hammer is down or at rest. Checking mine with the slide off it doesn’t appear to extend pass the breach face when I push it from the...
