    Usfa .45/.410

I have been seeing this on the internet for a few months. They don't list a price but the revolver looks really good. It's a single action with a longer cylinder with two latch points per position. They show two models. One has a plain barrel and the other has a birdcage flash hider. I like the...

    Changes in New Hampshire laws

With the advent of a more gun friendly majority in state politics there have been two important changes for us here. The law concerning "brandishing" a weapon did state that it was illegal to display a weapon if one felt threatened. Now a weapon may be displayed or "brandished" in order to let...

    TAC 2 Conversion kit

I recently looked over the TAC 2 quick change barrel kit for AR-15s and bought one and had it installed on my Bushmaster XM-15E2. Good luck with my Sig P238

I saw another thread about Sig recalls. I bought a late edition P238 last week and have nothing but high marks for it. In outward appearance it reminds me of my Colt Pocket-Lite.380. The finish is darned good and the little rascal carries well and shoots better than I can. I am well impressed...

    Dan Wesson specs?

I have recently bought 2 Dan Wesson .44mags. One has a set of 4 barrels and a barrel nut wrench...the other has nothing. I seem to recall the barrel/ cylinder gaps as being .006" on a DW .357 I once owned. Is that spec right for the .44 mags also? Thanks; :what:

    Info?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to locate IDPA rules and the ins and outs thereof? My #1 shooting buddy has joined the Marines and he and I won't have many chances to shoot. I have heard a bit about IDPA and it sounds like it's right up my alley. I googled IDPA and found a page with...

Advice needed on an old S&W... .455

I have a soft spot for some of the older guns, and recently in a gun store spotted what I thought was a 1917 Smith. I looked it over and bought it after realizing that it is what I believe to be a Hand Ejector , Model 2 , which is stamped with British proof marks and ".455" on the barrel...

    KimberParaColtS&W....whew.

I pride myself on being open minded. I've always liked 1911's. My first in the 70s was a Remington Rand. Until Colt lost all pride I had Colts. Now I find I have a Kimber Classic Custom, A Para C-7.45 LDA, A Kimber BP -10II, A Remington Rand. Of all the problems I have noticed the strangest is...

    S&W .455 Eley

I need some advice if anyone has dealt with a S&W, seems like a M-1917, stamped .455 Eley. The gentleman I bought it from said it had been converted to .45 LC. It's a beautiful old gun, with a Micro rear sight and it seems to have been cared for over its life. Is it a safe shooter? Also; it's...

    S&W .455 Eley...anybody worked on one?

I found a nice old S&W in the store today. Looks like, and I suppose it is, an old S&W M-1917, but chambered for .455 Eley. The gentleman I got it from told me it had been reworked to take .45LC rounds. Of course it's a 5-screw, and the screw at the top of the side plate, (Closest to the rear...

    Looking for a holster craftsman

Several years back I saw holsters advertised which were for "small of the back" wear. They didn't look like the usual ones seen nowadays...for a right hander the butt was facing right. I think the nomenclature on the holster was "The MOB Twist". They were made by a gentleman named Sam Andrews...

    Magazines for Kimber Hi-Caps

I have listened to a friend and finally bought a Kimber. It is everything I have ever heard about them as far as reliability and accuracy are concerned. I have emailed Kimber 4 times asking about the availability of magazines, either 10 round or, preferably, high capacity. I finally got an...
