Do wood grips make for faster pocket draws?

I put on a set of wood grips just like the pix posted by jglcolosprgs and love them. Wouldn't go back. While you can feel the recoil a little more, it's not a big deal for me.

    S&W M&P, Thoughts, issues

Just thought I would pass along a few links regarding the only area that I think some people wish was better...the trigger. Apex Tactical has just come out with a modified sear that really improves the trigger. Friends says it rocks... I'm on the waiting list for mine. Currently they are...

    GSG AK47 - range report

I don't know for sure but I'm guessing not. I think they just patterned the style/look of the AK mount. GSG does offer the side mount optics/accessories that they make. The current side rail on the side is plastic but they sell a metal version that they recommend if you add the optics...

    GSG AK47 - range report

The action of the rifle is totally different than a normal AK. The GSG is a standard blow back action typical of .22 rifles.

    GSG AK47 - range report

Yes and no. The actual barrel is inside a tube. The tube has female threads and the muzzle adapter threads into the tube. They are not cheap and will run you about the same cost as the GSG5. I had to pay $500.

    military .22s ?

I agree with Dechard, not in the $200 range for an AK or AR look alike. I just picked up a GSG AK47 last week. It just hit the market, finally. The GSG-5 is another one to look at but both are going to run at the $500 mark new.

Questions on out of state rifle transfer

Thanks for answering my other questions. This did bring up another question on your comment below. Since I haven't done this before I don't really understand the process. Would I pay/send the money to his FFL? After receipt of my money then his FFL sends to my FFL. Correct?

Questions on out of state rifle transfer

I had some questions on a potential sale of a rifle from an individual out of state. The lead came through a co-worker off of a non-firearm forum. Here are the details. I'm in TN, he's is MI. If I understand correctly he is eligible to ship it direct to a FFL in TN without getting a...

    M&P 9c : is this a good deal?

I think all the M&P are stiff in the area of the slide release. Every M&P I've handled takes a strong thumb to work it. Over time it does get easier, or your thumb gets stronger. :) I just changed my technique and drop the slide with a slight pull to the rear on the slide at the same time.

    which .40 S&W?

I've got the M&P full size and like it. Three things that sold me the M&P. Feels great in your hands The internal metal frame insert the slide rides on. Made in the USA If you're looking at the "XD" line, the XDm is a much better choice over the XD IMO. I'm really starting to jones...

Will Ruger offer the "SR9" in 40 S&W?

Does anyone know if Ruger is planning on offering the "SR9" pistol in a 40 S&W caliber? I liked the feel of one but don't want a 9mm.

Ruger P944 - single or double mag stack?

Can anyone tell me if the Ruger P944 uses a single or double magazine stack? The capacity is listed as only 10 so I'm thinking it's maybe a single. I don't have access to see one personally so that's why the question. Thanks, David

    Ruger vs S&W

I've got both. For maximum concealment, the 642/442 is the better choice.
