Moving to Colorado with magazines >15 rds that I have owned since prior to 2013

Sad, Colorado is a beautiful state, but I guess the land in California is beautiful also, its the Californians that are the problem.

20 or 30 rounders for AR

I like 20's and use 20's more at the range. less interference with a bench, lighter, and I think they look better, but most of my stock is 30rd, my HD rifle has a 20rd mag in it and several loaded 30rd's nearby if things get very ugly. A dozen is plenty to go to the range with. or plenty to...

Why does everyone crap on Century Arms?

I have an old post ban, (now post-post ban?) Wasr-10 that was imported by Century, only thing century did was hog out the 10rd mag well to accept standard 30rd mags. and grind off the bayo lug, that work looks like it was done by an angry beaver with a 4" angle grinder but it functions just...

    gun oil

I have been using break free CLP for about 20 years, does better than most at corrosion protection, important here on the humid gulf coast. is a good lubricant, CLP can also clean but not as quickly as a dedicated solvent. I have had good luck sending some down the still warm bore at the range...

Do You Have So Many Guns You Can't Enjoy Them All?

kinda, when I was younger I had grand visions of a collection that had a little bit of everything and I was impatient in getting there, and for cost reasons I cut some corners. I kinda wish I had fewer but nicer guns now. for instance I have many, shotguns, some I have never shot I have lusted...

What makes a 22 LR rifle or pistol fun?

I started with a 22, and 2 of my 3 kids have (smallest is still in a BB gun) but I never left them. The vast majority of my range time is in 22lr Cost is the biggest reason, even back in the day every pull of the trigger on an AR was $0.189, a 30rd mag of was over $5, and goes quick. I can get...

    pre-crazy ammo prices

Yep, I have an ammo can full of federal 510 from a little before that era, it was $1.47 and pretty good ammo. The 50 rd boxes seam to be more reliable than the bulk packs, possibly more accurate also. It was a great value.

Moving to Colorado with magazines >15 rds that I have owned since prior to 2013

This statement really bothers me, whats even worse is that you are absolutely correct, but it is so alien to a "government of, for, and by the people".

Moving to Colorado with magazines >15 rds that I have owned since prior to 2013

Not really, the Job includes a secret security clearance, witch would be very beneficial in my field, a conviction would threaten such. even a misdemeanor. thus the reason why I want to try to tack down the legality beforehand. before "Schrödinger's crime" is committed. The area is beautiful...

Moving to Colorado with magazines >15 rds that I have owned since prior to 2013

usually something not specified as illegal by a law is therefore legal, the law just specifies "Person" not "Colorado resident". In the plain reading of the text I am a person who has continuously owned these >15rd magazines since before July 1st 3013. weather a Colorado court will see it...

    Any new covid hobbies?

I started Minecraft with the kids, they lost interest pretty quick, I however have a kick ass base and chests full of suplies. Yes, that was a huge waste of time. But cheap.

    Undeniable Borescope diagnosis

There is truth here, I got a teslong about a year ago, great inexpensive bore scope. But when you pipe it through your computer to the 65" TV tiny machine marks become the grand canyon, dust become bolders, the smallest bit of rust becomes a huge malignant tumor, and cleaning takes 3 times...

Moving to Colorado with magazines >15 rds that I have owned since prior to 2013

I just went through my mag box, all that have date codes are pre 7/13, some date back to the 60's. (FAL) the AK mags are not dated but I know they are from the early 2000's. Question i have is it would be pretty easy to prove that my mags and myself were not in CO in 2013, the law seams mute...

Moving to Colorado with magazines >15 rds that I have owned since prior to 2013

I applied for a job in Colorado Springs. I like the area, a lot. No idea if its going to go through. I have been reading about the "high capacity" magazines ban, it seams pretty toothless and there is aparently a lack of enforcement, especially outside of Denver, but that could change at any...

It may be time to thin the collection

I dont think it will get that bad, this will certainly be bad for the victims of the virus, but I assume society will restart afterwards, changed, but functional, it's what we all want and will work for. But predicting the future is notoriously dificult. So my guess is no better than yours.

It may be time to thin the collection

Make a couple bucks sure, but do not gouge, this is the next generation of gun owners we could be introducing to gun culture, and our new allies in the next gun control fight.
