I keep hearing that the guy shot by a cop ln Milwaukee yesterday had a pistol loaded with 23 rounds which meant the cop was out gunned.
I wonder what kind of pistol he had that had 23 rounds in it?
I have noticed that after a range session my Glocks are always cleaner internally than any of my other pistols and much easier to clean.
Just wondering why?
Of all the pistols you own, which one do you enjoy shooting the most?
Not the one you think is your best defensive pistol, but the one you like to shoot the most?
Maybe if there were some good quality 22LR ammo available from other countries the U.S. Ammo makers would stop ripping us off on this ammo.
It sure happened with 380.
IMO the statistics we always read about 380 effectiveness are missing a very important equation.
Most people that shoot 9, 40 and 45 practice a lot more than the average 380 shooter does which means on average the 9, 40 and 45 shooters are probably going to have better shot placement and...
There was a claim made in another thread that the 9mm has more feeding problems than the 40cal round because of it's shape.
I personally do not shoot 40, but I have never had feeding problems with 9mm through a bunch of different pistols that I have owned over the years and was curious about...
This just came to me in another thread.
About ten years ago I decided I was no longer going to be a slave to my pistol and have to dress around it.
I'm 82 years old and and in all those years have never had to defend myself with my pistol other than alerting a potential robber that I was...
I don't like Polymer guns because...
I would like to see actual problems experienced with Polymer rather than personal biases based on unsubstantiated claims.
Just received a Cheaper Than Dirt catalog #607 and was shocked at their ammo prices! These are the prices in the CTD Flyer for 9mm, 115gr FMJ.
American Eagle FMJ 115gr 9mm, for 50 rounds $59.59
PMC Bronze FMJ 95gr 380, for 50 rounds $59.59
Speer Lawman FMJ 115gr 9mm, for 50 rounds...
This is mainly for the people that always jump into a discussion of the 380 round with, why carry a 380 when you can carry a bigger round?
A lot of people just can't seem to grasp the concept that a 380 round is effective enough to be a viable self defense round, but do these people really...
