I have to agree with the others, 180's. I always go heavy . 230gr for 45's and 147gr for 9mm.

As far as penetration goes, except for the 200gr XTP, the 45 and 10mm are very close. Also expansion is close.

Yeah. I loaded some tonight with 4.6gr 231 with the 200gr LSWC. Hope to get out next week and try them out.

I ordered some Missouri Bullets about 1 week ago and finally made it to the range today. I loaded a 200gr LSWC over 4.9gr of 231. The results were very good. 1 whole raged groups at 7 and 15 yards and about a 3and 1/2 inch group at 25 yards. Now that's about as good as I can shoot. I will deff...

I usually shoot jacketed bullets in my 1911's but have recently gone to Oregon Trail 200 gr. SWC's. I ordered some diff. lead today that is rated at 18 brinle hardness. Will I have a problem with leading with this hardness if I keep the velocities low?

It's hard to believe the 45acp penitrated more than the 10mm. I always thought the 10 would pen. more.

I don't like the 3 dot set up. Too busy. I have XS on my 27 but Heinie or 10-8's on everyting else. I find just a tritium front, or the straight 8 set up to be very fast.

I like the 70 series repro. I've got one and it's been fantastic. I think the repro has a little better fit than the 1991. That's just the ones I've seen. That said, I would like to have a 1918 repro. The only thing that holds me back is the fact that I know I'll shoot the snot out of it.

I use copper plated bullets in my 21. Berry's. I've run thousands through my 21 with no ill effects. I don't run lead of any kind in my Glocks.

Must be those crummy MIM parts. Call Glock and they will send you a new one.
