Statistically I'll probably go before my wife. She likes guns and knows how to use certain ones. Our sons would like to have several but she not in favor of me giving any to them though they are grown (understandable motherly concern). Sooner or later the kids will end up with them.

Except, of course, in places like here, the People's Republic of California, where every firearm transfer is required to go through an FFL and be registered with the Cal DoJ permanently. This way, any stolen gun should be netted by the process during the 10-day waiting period. As an added bonus...
