What is the most Lethal 380 ACP ammo on the market

guy wants a simple suggestion or two on opinion as to the quality/reliability of a cartridge for a .380. 15-20 opinions about hot air, and whichever goes the straightest, and other buffoon-sent answers. Does anyone have an opinion as to the better shot? I like Speer Gold Dot.

    Concealed Carry in SF?

I recall a few years ago I think I read that your gun will likely be confiscated if caught LEGALLY (CCW Permit) carrying in SF. Anybody?

Will there EVER be a consensus on C1, C2 or C3

HEY PT1911....et al Thanks for expanding on your thoughts about C1. I have responded to Creature before I saw this post, and it is in answer to a possible lack of confidence with this weapon, along with the 'changing of the times' in general that brought me to this quandry. 20 years ago, it...

Will there EVER be a consensus on C1, C2 or C3

This certainly factors into my personal habit, which has been C3. I have had and carried handguns for quite a while, and I think a lot of us old(er) goats liked the feeling of having a weapon at hand for defense. As the times have changed drastically in the last 15-20 years, so has the opinion...

Will there EVER be a consensus on C1, C2 or C3

Agreed. I have talked to lots of folks about this choice, and I fully believe that practice, education and confidence in the weapon almost dictate that C1 would be the easiest, more practical option.

Will there EVER be a consensus on C1, C2 or C3

I thought that this would provide a somewhat unified position, that would be the heavily weighted response, C1. I also had anticipated the strange few who can't simply give an opinion, but try to discredit, or challenge either the OP (me) or someone who responds to the question with a...

Will there EVER be a consensus on C1, C2 or C3

IN YOUR OPINION, Which is the all-around safest condition in which to carry concealed? C1: Condition 1 is the condition that many police carry their weapon – that is what is euphemistically called “cocked and locked.” Quite simply, cocked and locked means you flick the safety (if you have...

    I searched, but got gobbledy-gook

I emailed back and forth with Nate this eve, and settled on his recommendation, his Canute. I'll let you know after it arrives. I might also pop for a crossbreed, if the UBG doesn't quite feel good. A lot of pos feedbk for both. AND, bigfatdave... because I'm trying to spot some new (to me)...

    I searched, but got gobbledy-gook

So I thought I might try to (re) pose this question...... I have an EMP, that rides in a Milt Sparks VM2. It is a very comfy IWB ride. However, I just bought a Springfield PX9109L (1911 A1 Loaded) 5" bbl. Looking around for a holster that will take less than a year to get, I stumbled across...

A Matter of Choice, probably. Which one?

"and the winner is........." I now have an EMP in 9mm, and a Springfield PX9109L in .45!

    Follow-Up...Advice from the Sages, PLZ

so, again, my decision is If I can sell, or trade my Sig P226r in .40 for either a Kimber, or even better, a Springfield 1911 in .45, then I'm all over it.....but the decision is made-no way I can let go of the EMP. If you don't think a 9mm can get it done, please come on over and hold a target...

    Follow-Up...Advice from the Sages, PLZ

thx doc2m I like the 9mm EMP also, thats the problem. I can trade that RIGHT NOW for a NIB Kimber Custom 1911 .45, but thats not what I want. If anythings going to get traded, it'll be the Sig P226r in .40 that I would trade for either the Kimber Custom-II, or, (I think preferably) a...

    Follow-Up...Advice from the Sages, PLZ

After the poll, and the thread, a choice has come to hand, and I would like, finally, to hear some input... A pal owns a local gun shop. He has offered me a trade. My SA EMP in 9mm (like new), for his NIB Kimber Custom II 1911 in .45acp. I have great accessories for the EMP, (Milt Sparks VM2...

A Matter of Choice, probably. Which one?

After talking to a pal/gun shop owner, I'm thinking about keeping the EMP, trading/selling the Sig P226, and going for a Kimber Custom II in Black. Still just thinking. Argue me out of it. I want 'em all, but don't have any more $$$ to put in???!!! I'll tell you why~ I bought a Milt Sparks VM2...

A Matter of Choice, probably. Which one?

Thanks for all the input. I asked because I am considering trading one of these for a 1911 in .45, full size. (5.5" bbl). I know, all of you rich folk would say keep em both, but I'm not deep enough in the pocket, so one will have to be the trade in. Thanks PS-for the carry factor, I think I...

A Matter of Choice, probably. Which one?

Which is the all-around better gun to own: a Sig Sauer P226r W/night sights in .40 or a Springfield EMP W/night sights in 9mm? And, if you would, please state your opinion as to why. Please....don't answer this question with another question. I know its difficult, and everyone...

Not just a pretty handgun...help in a choice

and, Glocks are cheaper than almost any reliable gun out there, so it would make more sense to save a bit, and ADD the Glock .45 later. imho, the Sig is just a machining giant, and a fine piece of work, so with the grip-fix, I think it'll be the way to go.

Not just a pretty handgun...help in a choice

well, alrighty then........lol I think I have stumbled onto a successful outcome. I'll know in a week. I'm keeping both handguns. BUT, note that the problem was that after carrying compact CCW's (EMP, Kimber UC2) the Sig felt HUGE! I took it out to clean it, thinking of going to the range, but...

looking for a wondernine - CZ vs Sig vs someother non Glock

from personal experience I favor the P226, in a .40. It is dependable, nice to fire, extremely accurate (YMMV :D) amd just a fine handgun.
