I actually started out with the single stage classic Hornady press kit about 10 years ago I guess. Still use it today for most rifle and all special projects. No problems with it. I have since picked up the AP, and the dies will need adjusting between the two, but it is a quick process.

I have had a model 6 for two years now, and have not had any problems. Its one of my favorite AR's, and it consistently shoots some of my smallest groups. I recommend it.

I just put one on an SBH with a Vortex Sparc red dot. Planning to use it for deer season this year. It has turned out very nice. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to sight it in.

Mitlov - Yes, any handgun designed to fire .357 mag will shoot .38 specials. It is an excellent first revolver caliber choice, as you can practice away with .38 specials and load the .357 mag when needed. Ruger and S&W are always my first choice in a quality revolver, but that is my opinion...

I've been using appendix carry exclusively for 5+ years. The current setup is a Ruger LCR in a Highnoon leather holster. I usually forget that I have it on.

H4831sc is the powder I use for .270 win. I get good velocity and excellent accuracy from a load less than published maximums. This is used for deer hunting.

Savage Edge/Axis in .270 shoots right at an inch for me at 100 yards. I've been using it for three deer seasons now and has worked perfectly. I've dropped it out of the stand, in a creek, scratched it up crawling through briars, and it is no worse for the wear - and for $300, you don't cry...

By programable, I meant using the BDC software. The .223 version is similiar to the .308 in that it is supposedly set for a 55 grain spire point type bullet at 3200fps ( I think that is right). I have not found a round or been able to reload one that exactly fits that bill, so the spot on...

The BDC scopes are fully programmable. You just input your rounds data (velocity, bullet weight, etc.), and it will provide the exact range each dot will represent incuding how the magnification changes will do. I use the .223 one and have several different rounds all mapped out. It works...
