    Oiling/greasing the bolt yay or nay?

    So I've owned numerous pump guns over the years, but decided to dip my toes in the auto waters with a Stoeger m3000 freedom series. I know normal maintenance on my pumps is lube the rails and bolt followed by wiping the bolt off with a clean rag. On a semi auto how much and what type of lube do...

    Do you oil/grease the lock work in revolvers?

    Considering that most revolvers are kind of a pain in the butt to open and get to the lock work, and considering that the major manufacturers test fire their revolvers before shipping, does anyone ever lubricate the lock work when buying a new revolver? After 1000 rounds? At all?
