trigger bar

My mother in law bought an LC9 a few years back, and shot it maybe three times. she put it away, gave it to me because I guess I don't have enough guns. I pull the trigger, but it doesn't engage anything. I don't know what to take pictures of to help.

I just got an unissued Bulgarian Makarov from SOG. It was packed in cosmoline so I detail stripped it and got it all cleaned up. Now I'm trying to get it back together and am having issues. It seems that the disconnector (on the trigger bar) is not working properly, possibly because of an issue...
